Let's see; this car has the head-up display and the Bower and Wilkins audio package. I can't help but wonder, "How did this happen?" "And where?"

Pro tip: Magnets work great, are quicker, easily adjustable, and leave a cleaner template than tape(for holding, not for the edge markings). Great tutorial.

@@836dmar thanks we do use magnets however the video was intended for DIY guys that purchase our interior kits. We were trying to show how people at home can do it with simple stuff around a home garage. Also 80% of the hot rod interior kits we sell end up in fiberglass body kit cars and magnets don’t work for those guys. Thanks for sharing and thanks for watching.

I wish this was a little MORE basic, like what is teh best materials, i don't know what threads to use, i am also wondering where to get the best Vinyl. I ordered a cover for my GL1500 it;s a 99 and people just do not know what they are selling is the deal . this ( these seat covers ) i got none of them fit my bike and they are all identical! the chineseum pro LOL yeah i fell for it. it is hand made and it was supposed to be 189 dollars they just kept sending repeats though when I told them it doesn't fit. now it;s too late to send back/ so i want to alter it. also, after I give this my best shot. i want to make one from scratch. this is not a flighty thought as i have a TON of bikes outback, all of them have seats much less complex than the GL1500 as they are all 70 s 60's and 80's thumpers/ sucks I am starting with my goldwing but it is my daily. i want this back to waterproof and looking nice.

Is it possible to make a sport bike seat comfortable? I just bought a 2024 Kawasaki Z500 2 weeks ago, and the stock seat is crap. My butt bones hurt and gets hot and burning sensation within 20 to 30 minutes.

Love your videos!! I’ve been doing upholstery for a year now, and just got my first industrial walking foot sewing machine that’s a lock stitch. Do you tie of your ends when your done sewing your lines? Because I notice you don’t use a back stitch. Or can I rely on my lock stitch for that? Because I’ve been tying off all my ends when I’m done sewing a line

    • @AtomicAutoworksTV

We do back stitch on some jobs. Like daily drivers however on nicer stuff we usually hand tie for look and guaranteed lock. Thanks for watching Make sure to subscribe, next week we will be bring back our weekly giveaway.

Have you have any customers complain about leg circulation because of the front part of the cushion? At first i didn't have any issues with the comfort, but since for more than a year i feel extreme pain in the back of my knees every time i drive for a couple of hours. Like the metal front frame its cutting my circulation to my legs. Im thinking of buying a new seat or get a new diferent model seat to see if it has more padding.

Newbie question? Do you need to wear mask when grinding foam? Do you get foam dust that can get into your lungs like body filler? May be a stupid question but I really would appreciate answer. Love your videos. Subbed and liked video.

    • @AtomicAutoworksTV

You should probably always wear a mask. For some reason we have never had foam dust in our nose like body filler or wood dust . It’s just hard to talk on camera or wear glasses and the mask as the fog up .
