I thought this would be more slow-paced than your other songs, and it is, but by less than I thought. Ironically, this is probably some of your most effective guitar work, probably _because_ the rest of the song is mostly made up of keyboards, choirs, and more classical strings. Also, this ending in a double kill would probably be the most appropriate way it could go, if not the way it would go down in an actual Death Battle.

Ah, nice to see you again. Usually, I can imagine the broad strokes of a fight that would happen while your track plays in the background, but what I got from this is some pretty potent melancholy with not much dramatic battling to speak of. It's like the music itself is reluctant to see what's at the end of this fight, which works well considering the general themes. The little sax riffs midway through came as a pleasant surprise, too.

I have no doubt he'll cause the Doctor to regenerate at least once because he certainly isn't a slouch, but the Doctor is just next level
