We go exploring a mausoleum
Переглядів 6611 місяців тому
We found this interesting old building dating back to around 1870 so decided it was worth a look. The burial chamber is sealed so no access, we intend to further explore the possibility that tunnels run below emerging into the surrounding woodland.
What are we doing?

It has been a while since we explored anything, this video is just a short chit chat session to try and explain our absense and assure you we will be back soon. This video is also going on our other channel Ghosthunter Wales.

Переглядів 2982 роки тому
For this explore we went to Trefor on the North Wales coast of Gwynedd. What we found was not quite what we expected, we found a large building that had clearly sustained severe fire damage, we were unable to find a way in, so this explore was restricted to the grounds, but dont be put off by that, the views are spectacular plus we meet the locals.
A quick update to explain our absence.

So glad everyone was rescued by your police but very sorry for homeowners' loss of their home. We had a tour of Caernarfon just about one year ago although I'm sure we didn't see this particular house. The fact that we were so recently there made the impact greater because Caenarfon and everyplace we visited in Wales is lovely. Just wish the economy could get better for folks there.
THAT WAS UPLOADED ON MY BIRTHDAY 😱
If the door closed then it will be a major thing
Oh no 😟
Was that islamic migrants living there ? , it seems to be common for them to burn down any accomodation that they dont like , its happening weekly all over the uk as they demand semi detached houses in nice areas
3 to 5 minutes from time of call the West Mids fire service achieve, the bonus of a urban are I suppose. You'd be dead if you was trapped in that house, 8 mins before first appliance and thats from start of recording and not from start of fire. Possibly retained firefighters so it can take upto 5 minutes for them to leave station.
Thanks for watching and commenting. You are absolutely correct, the tenant of the property was upstairs when the fire broke out and made it down the stairs and out of the door only seconds before the landing was consumed by the fire, so yes had she have counting on rescue by the fire service they would have been too late. I will however point out that had the outcome been different I would not have uploaded the video, thankfully everybody was fine, property can be replaced, lives cant.
Why film yourselves trespassing on private property ? This Quarry is owned by a company based in Porthmadog. I would not be surprised if the police cautioned or even charged you for your trespassing on this land. Why have you ignored the private land warnings ? I live here and respect private property. You should do the same.
Many thanks for watching and commenting, to answer your question, we are explorers, it is what we do and we do nothing any different to the many other explorers that post videos, however all of these videos by different explorers have one thing in common, we do NOT break down fences or kick doors in, property is treated with the upmost respect and unless we can just walk in we leave alone, we never force entry and never cause any damage during the process of exploring and showing the public how places are abandonded and left to decay. I must point out that on this particular explore we simply walked right into it, no fences to climb and nothing to suggest we should not be there, no private property signs or warnings of trespassing, and I stress once more that we and other explorers treat places with utter respect and leave them exactly as we found them. Thanks again for watching.
the way in was underground
my dad usto work in the mine ...i can rember his storys off this place
"police rescue neighbours because I stood here like a plum filming it rather than make myself useful"
Didn't expect you to be here😂
Action Stations.
So so upsetting hope whoever was involved got out safely 😔
Hi Viv, thank you for explaining more about this fire and filling in some of the gaps. It must have been very intense to actually start melting a freezer! It's a wonder that no was injured, and that everyone apparently got out in time. Is that your daughter Lauren you are talking with in the original video?
Yes Lauren was with me during the filming so probably her. I wish I could have been allowed to film when I went inside, you need to see it to believe the devastation. The fire took hold very quickly, I took my wife to work for 9am, was back home by about 9.08, no sign of fire when I got out of the car, by about 9.13 the place was an inferno.
@@explorationwales2389 Wow! And no word at all on what started it. Could it be a cover-up?
I used to work there 91 - 93.
Yes I miss the smell we used to get when driving past.
I cannot believe how long it took the fireman to get there
Doesn't look like a holiday home. 🤣
It isnt, it is a family home, or at least was.
Wow, very interesting . I live about 25 mins drive from this area and would be keen to visit ! Is it easy to find once you are in Tregarth ? Can you park nearby ? ( I also like exploring "abandoned places"...have you done any other postings on those in N Wales ? ) Best regards 👍
It is well worth a visit, we had a little trouble finding it but got there after asking a few locals, we found on road parking quite easily. We are considering returning to explore more of the actual trail, plus we are hoping to increase our explores this year. We are due to do Doreatha Quarry, I have high hopes for that.
Thank you for your reply . I nipped up there today ! Found it ok, lovely area, cool tunnel ! You'll love Dorothea !! @@explorationwales2389
The smoke alarm was a little late.
The Fire Department is rather late
Yes they were late in arriving.
Oh bloody heck what happened there 😳😳😳😳so sorry
Shouldn't have blocked the chimney off
Absolutely devastating for those involved. Such a thing is always on my mind - it will change your life forever.
Yes it is something we should all be aware of, it can happen to any of us.
Fire department turns up at the end of the video ,delays due to slow moving traffic in 20mph zone all the way from the fire station 😂
A gimble would be a good investment!! I remember this factory open. You could smell it for miles.
How is the fire dept. not there?
How come it took the fire brigade so long to arrive and put water on the fire ? I mean it’s 8:24 in the video but the house is already well alight as the video footage begins, so the fire brigade must have been called before the footage starts, which means they took even longer to arrive !
Obviously you don't live in North Wales, nearest fire station could be miles away along country roads
It's literally around the corner 😒
The only local fire stations are volunteers. They take time to get to the station. Then turn out. Theres few fully manned stations located in bigger towns and cities. This isnt new york where 30 engines turn out for an e bike fire. This is the real world.
How do you know the fire brigade was called before the footage starts? It's an interesting syndrome: dozens of onlookers all assuming someone else has called the fire brigade when in fact nobody has.
The fire station is a walk of a few minutes, no idea what took so long.
6:40 German siren??
😡
FIRE BRIGADE LONDON 🚒🚒🚒🚒🚨🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒🚒
Because Londoner's pay for for this kind of service.
Why are you filming the sky?
that smoke alarm was a bit late
Te filmy na początku były zabawne, ale szczerze mówiąc, darzyły sympatią tego gościa. Potrzebuje dobrego zespołu zajmującego się zdrowiem psychicznym i wsparcia społecznego.
Co !? Zmień dilera synu.
#disbandthepolice
The lady shouts do you want me to move my car no mrs lol mean while fire service still on way from london 😂😂
Whats taking the fire engines so long to get there, hope no1 was hurt in this fire, its so sad and heartbreaking 💔 😢
I'ts the reult of not wanting to pay for full time firefighters.
Thats no fire mun.... thats my new open hearth from The Range. Id be upset too if I lived next door...... I mean, how can I get my head down for a bit with all that fucking noise out there
eeeeeh dazzez grows gone up again
Why had the fire got such a hold and almost burnt itself out before the fire brigade turned up. For the people criticizing the girl laughing it can be a reaction to shock. I'd be more concerned as why it took 7 mins on this video for the fire brigade to arrive.
Do you think there is a fire station on every corner?
@firstman9273 there is around that corner!!! Caernarfon has a fire station and the town itself is only a few square miles.
@@tonyjones9442They're a volunteer brigade. Their on-scene time was very good for a vol brigade. The international standard for a 24/7 fire brigade is 7.7 minutes on scene from the time of call.
why did someone use a water hose in the garden and start putting out the fire
Sorry to see Viv.
Sorry to see Viv.
Sorry to see Viv.
Oh I’m glad it wasn’t your house! But still a sad thing for those who lived there…👍🏻🥰🦊
