only just held to her. put a enduro tyre on the front but think we ride to hard for it will be back on a dunlop 908rr adventure tyre. cut the rear side wall on some sharp rocks on the bank i slid into. hope you are having fun over there.

I saw when that happened. The Dunlop will hold up hopefully. Those sharp rocks will be the test. A little fun every day! You too Adrian.

@@popup1959 dunlop will take it. trails have loads of sharp rocks they are getting worse.

never looks as bad on camera but as you no there are a lot of rock sections up there that have big holes all in them. we do ride there a lot but it changes every ride with all the bad weather we get.

almost got me that one, expensive day but rear tracker will be ok with a tube in front will too. but will not run a mitchelin medium enduro on again. pity because its got very good grip on rocks and mud.

21,000 miles. one clutch my fault for that. just put a new clutch cable on because it had stretched. just put a new bearing in the rear sprocket carrier. one exhaust lamba censor drowned that in a river. not bad for wear i ride. done the brake fluid flush had to free up back brake caliper. changed plugs. change oil and filters every 3,000 miles, brake pad when needed,air filters when needed. have fun charles.

@@adriantompson Thanks very much Adrian! That all makes sense for your riding conditions. I hear most skip valve checks until 30km or whatever depending on if hard starting.

valves have not been done. will do them when it goes down on power. hope to go another 10,000 miles. most people have checked them and they are in speck.

if you do a lot of road work and go off road i would run mitchelin ankee wilds. if you do more off road i run a dunlop 908rr on the front and a mitchelin tracker 140 on the rear, as we go through a lot off mud and rocks. the mitchelin ankee wilds are very good on stone tracks and very good on the tar roads, a very good up grade from the str crap oem tyres. you can run 140 tyres on the stock rear rim . these are the tyres i run and are very good but othere riders will tell you a different tyre. all i can tell you is dont run motos tractionators they are hard as a stone and are crap on tar and not very good off road.

90/90/21 front 150/80/18 rear or 140/80/18 rear.

we were going off road then came up on them so watched them most of the day. good turn out. hope they get it next year.

makes a change not been a very good year so far, it has been very wet all summer. did you spot the face on the tree trunk its so real , its on the rear camera when i stop at the top of the hill. worth looking at it, never seen any thing looking so real. have fun bet its hot over with you.

we both had punctures with in 20 mins must have been nails put some where. wet up there good job sean had a rim lock in looked like he got a lot of grip with a flat tyre, my bike was sideways most of the way up.

i got so far up and gave up. electorn450 got up but was not pretty but never gave up. i thought it needs to be dry before i go there again.

bmw1250gs go up there with road tyres a piece of piss best adventure bike on the market.

this is for when you go through water at speed off road, it stops the water hitting you in the face. it also acts as a steering damper. but i put it there to stop water.

nah, always good to be in a flexible gear

you need to ride up there it looks smooth but its not . you need the power to launch over the big rocks and the sharp edge rocks you do not see on camera , i have a lot of torque with my bike but some trails you need to be in a gear lower to jump things in your way as if i was hitting that stuff in a higher gear i would not have enough power. do not care about fuel . have fun.
