The children of Israel were commanded by God to ask people. That's how God work in the earth. He uses people and anything else to accomplish his will. Exodus 3:21-22 21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when ye go, ye shall not go empty: 22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourneth in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and ye shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and ye shall spoil the Egyptians. (KJV 1900) Commentary 3:21, 22 God would so humiliate their leader Pharaoh that the common people of Egypt would become favorably disposed toward Israel. The Israelites, who had been slaves in Egypt, would not leave empty-handed. They would plunder the Egyptians by merely asking for precious goods (for the fulfillment of this prophecy, read 11:2; 12:35, 36). Later, the Israelites gave these very same precious goods to God as offerings for the tabernacle (ch. 35). Thus God enriched a slave populace so that they in turn were able to give their riches back to Him with thanksgiving. [1] By the time God was finished with them, the Egyptians would be glad to give the Jewish women anything they asked! The wealth thus accumulated would only be just compensation for all the slave labor of the Jews under the taskmasters of Egypt. When Abram tithed before the LAW did God reject it? (Genesis 14: 20) Who instructed Abram to tithe? What was the lineage of MELCHIZEDEK? If tithing was available when there was no LAW and was reinforced under the LAW, how much more should we tithe under grace?

@@liveyourlifeforapurpose6068 Abram tithed once in his life time when he went to rescue his nephew lot and capture the spoils of the war. Abram did not tithe is own wealth. He gave the spoils of the war.

As a matter of fact Levi was still in the loins of Abam. Please answer the questions.

@@liveyourlifeforapurpose6068 That was a one time event. Abram went to rescue his nephew lot and captured the spoil of the war. He tithed the spoil of the war not his own wealth. Abram was very rich even before he tithed.

@@liveyourlifeforapurpose6068 Do you observe the Sabbath? Why don't you sacrifice the animals? Do you observe circumcision? Those things were done before the mosaic law. We are under grace not under the law. Out of 613 laws why do you pick only tithe? "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."
