The last wild river in California. You're right HOWEVER, now we are rebuilding wild rivers in California. The Klamath has had all 4 dams removed & the salmon have returned and the San Joaquin is flowing again in its historic riverbed. Confidence is high that the salmon will return soon. !

Great video Paul! I'm actually one of the kids of the family who used to live there. You might have heard the stories, but I can confirm the house is indeed haunted. Lillian loves to mess with people she liked from time to time, but she would only start doing things if people started to change how the house was arranged.

I think the redwood trees absorb the water through their needles more. because when I water my redwood it never really grows much, but when we have a few days of rain you can see the new growth with new needles

Mr. Coopman misrepresents the population status of Klamath-Trinity Spring Chinook. The reason Karuk talks alot about populations on the Salmon River is because there are virtually no wild Spring salmon anywhere else in the Klamath Basin. These fish are nearly extinct. However, Karuk does not see fishing as the reason for low numbers of Spring Chinook. Dams, mining, agricultural diversions, and logging practices are to blame. The genetics are now clear. This is not research done by the Tribe as Mr. Coopman states but by a research lab at UC Davis. The peer review publication can be viewed here: advances.sciencemag.org/content/3/8/e1603198.abstract

I would be more impressed if our school children had walked out on 4/11/18 for 17 minutes to protest, pray and stand silently over the 10 fetuses killed by Planned Parenthood and their affiliates through abortion in 17 minutes. It started with one voice. It reached 300 schools and 80 colleges across America. Not a huge impact but still a start. Pro-Life's voice will be better heard now that students are getting involved. So when I compare cannabis use, or anti-gun sentiments to saving the lives of the unborn guess where my priorities stand? 60 million abortions since 1973 is the American Holocaust.

This Lodge used to have the best Sunday Brunch buffet within 200 miles! BUT...we can never tell if it's open or closed anymore. The lodge website shows nothing. :-(
