Promote the viola to more young people to recognize that the viola is a wonderful instrument and has an important role as a solo instrument, part of an orchestra, string quartet and pop culture. Secondly, I’d like to share my music to everyone during this pandemic, quarantine and shelter in place. I’m hoping my music will somehow ease the stress and pain for those who have lost loved ones. I will be playing musicals, forgotten standards, fiddle, movie soundtracks and pop from past and current available Violin, Viola Collections w/CD, fake books and from free sheet music online.The back track and sheet music will be in the Description when available in order for all of you to be able to find the music when it strikes your interest and decide to play along. Feel free to follow the music with your instrument.
Hopefully, the music will strike a chord in your heart and mind and enable you to enjoy the viola as I have all these years as a teacher and a musician.

Back after 5 months.. I started learning this today. About to get a cello to add to the family and I can’t wait to transfer between the violin, viola and cello.
Where did you go? I don’t teach cello anymore so I will consign my cello in San Jose where I bought it years ago.
@@ViolaRevolution I bought mine brand new from a shop called Living Music - it a Stienhoff but I don’t remember the specific model because they’re just number and letter combinations.

When I got engaged to my girlfriend I had it all planned out perfectly, hired a fabulous violin player, flights and hotel in my favourite part of Dublin, the perfect restaurant and meal. Walk along the waterfront, my parents and brother perfectly placed to record and capture a perfect moment. Unfortunately for me, the December gales and blustery winds blew out my dad’s microphone and you can hardly hear the perfect song for a perfect moment, so I come and listen to this every time I think about my soon to be wife. (We are getting married in August!) so thank you so much for this perfect rendition. It fills my heart with endless joy.
