Honestly I would just do it for fun
Hey. Its been 4 years. Do you still feel the same way about it being a scam?
Absolutely lol
Nah
This has a cringeworthy amount of complaining lmao legitimately had to stop watching because there’s so much crying. You even whined about the standard liability waiver form? LOL bro you have to sign those for just about everything…
Thanks for watching 🙂👍🏽
Long story short…They scammed for $27,000 smh
They need to pay theirs player 200k bro lol
Uau bro to much thanks. Bro I’m from Europe I gonna go to tryouts it’s possible for Europe players?
Wat the name of the song at the beginning
Great video dude I did an annual invitational for the golden states g league team two years ago that was good experience for me and I was not even In college I was still in the prep school.6’9 230 lbs but I went there show up the best I can like everybody else.obviously it didn’t work for me but the experience was something else.for the guys looking to do tryouts just focus on the fundamentals and be able to use both hands we never know what gonna happened.just keep dreaming and chase your dreams.
the guy who does stunted growth broke his story down an he tried the g league and his name kept coming up he was told but his resume was ass in college cause he wasnt focused in college at the time so even a guy whos name kept coming up during tryouts was turned down due to his resume.
This is why the grind must continue
If you can’t pass with Ur non dominant hand your not a gleague player
Who said I couldn’t pass with non-dominant hand? Do pick and choose what to critique and then end up looking like a complete idiot.
Make sure y’all subscribe to PRIMARY basketball channel. MUCH LOVE ua-cam.com/channels/_sk3h8vyBkwDi_7Mdefm7g.html
You ever thought about playing semi pro basketball to get in competitive basketball shape and sharpen your skills as well as well as gain film , and try to go to overseas exposure camps and or other minor leagues like NBL Canada and TBL ? Theres other Avenues you can try to play professional basketball.
I’ve been offered to attend numerous tryouts to play for semi-pro leagues and pro leagues, but I’m tired of going down the same road. I impress every scout, am the best player there only to be told they’re already full. I’m waiting until an offer is saying “I WANT YOU ON THE TEAM”.
@@judahbryantbasketballjourney look up Dre Baldwin channel, he has literally the best channel in teaching players methods to how to go pro overseas, what to expect, what you have to do, overseas exposure camps,European Academy, G League, playing semi pro etc. He came from a D3 college and played pro overseas for about 8 to 9 years.
@@judahbryantbasketballjourney I advise playing semi pro cause it keeps you in basketball shape and game experience to see what you need to improve on, working on your game I a real live game time experience and gauge on where your at and what you need to do to move forward in your basketball Journey/career, especially if you came out of college but haven't got an offer or especially of you have no college experience, you can substitute it with Semi Pro , work on your body in getting in the gym either building on your body getting bigger for your position or losing weight to get faster, slimmer and quicker for your position and also working on your skillsets (Shooting, Ball handling, technique) and also Conditioning which is a big factor for the professional level.
@@judahbryantbasketballjourney look up in your area for local semi pro teams, you just want to get on one so you can have game experience and season your body in game experience (not taking a season off), rec league or park basketball is bad ,not good and wont be taken seriously, Semi pro is the best alternative.
@@charleswebsterjr.6350 hey how do I get into semi pro league do I need college film
Thank you big dawg. Im on my way to trying out for the lakers affiliate team. I needed to hear this wisdom. Thank you so much.
You’re welcome, and good luck. Make sure you leave everything out on the court. Let me know how it goes 🤞🏽 #YouGotThis
hey dude, i was just wondering, do you get money off of this league for playing games? or is this league for gaining exposure
Joshua Lewis depends on who you play for, and for the most part, it’s really just for exposure and having fun. The league is rated #1 in the city.
What college you played for?
I did a G league tryout back in 2009 and 2012 it was obviously called the D league back then. It was great and fun experience I don’t regret doing but as time has passed and I’ve gain knowledge on those tryouts It was a waste of time and money. The only true way to make the NBA is having D1 or maybe D2 college experience and having a agent that represent you.
Agreed, but it all depends on networking, regardless of your basketball experience, some people get scouted off the streets, Rec leagues, and posting content on social media. But yeah, it is a waste of time of money because they already have their roster and since they’ve done this so many times by corralling hundreds of hoopers every year for a tryout, make them spend hard earned money, knowing none of them are going to get selected. SAVAGES lol
I feel like you would’ve made it if you had the right honest chance!
Joshua Ikoya yeah me too, I impressed a lot of scouts, they told me themselves, but ehhhhh, shit happens man.
If your 5’8 is it a low low chance in making the g league
Wendell Barthelemy good thing I’m 6’3 and 6’4 on a good day lol
Wendell Barthelemy I play in a league where there’s a lot of y’all people, don’t let the camera angle fool you lol
Your chances to make the g league are low unless you are gifted athletically and work hard every day
@@joaquingrande371 why say that bro? Hard work beats talent every time. Remember that
Judah Bryant!! Play here in the Philippines cuz the PBA pay 25,000$ per month and as of now The PBA are allowing teams to get 2 foreign Players!! So it’s up to you bro!! God bless you mann!!
Josh Ongsip where do I sign up at? 😂
Judah Bryant do you have an agent?
Terrence Jones,Chris McCullough And KJ Mcdaniels last Played here in the PBA

The darker side of basketball( high school, college, g league) is a lot about who you know and connects
ua-cam.com/video/ZBHKoOeyVqc/v-deo.html
Beimnet Gelan yeah man, those tryouts are scams. I try to prevent players from going to them, but ehhhhh, I’ll let them experience it for themselves.
Dude really just being a b**** you weren’t good enough. You weren’t even prepared for What your were getting yourself into, the other guys OBVIOUSLY have been through it they were familiar with staff at the tryouts They were in shape to not get gassed during a shoot around. You were upset it was the assistant coach, who cares who can get me there that’s all i care about. You’re not good enough 🤷🏾♂️ oh fckn well
INO YVST I’m going to make you look real stupid very soon. I LOVE IT FAM lol much love.....
He salty cause he didn’t make it how the hell were u shocked that they made u sign a injury waiver 😭 same one u sign when at the local community center 😂😭 he hot u trash get over it
You prolly a kid that never gets pick up to play pickup ball
A lot of ppl that weren’t exposed to high level basketball, don’t realize that the world is competitive af and some even think that talent isn’t a factor (it really is, especially if you don’t waste it). The truth is that if making it to the NBA isn’t possible for most people, no matter how har you try. You can always become a good basketball player if you work hard, but the NBA literally has like 500 spots for the whole world, and there’s super talented people coming in and out each year. Then you look at the a Euroleague, extremely talented aswell, about 200 spots in that league, obviously the NBA is better, but if you weren’t the best player on your high school team and a really good player in college, you likely won’t make roster. The world is competitive and nothing is given
You seem like you aren’t good at anything in life. I’d hate to be you bro. Seek help, IMMEDIATELY 😂
@@jonibeeter3288 he’s a loser 😂
Oh yeah and btw, I’ve been offered many opportunities, tryouts/contacts to be on teams and turned them down, so I’d be quiet if I were you chief 🤫
Did you make the team
Universe Bot no sir, politics are a mf lol
I'm not talking shit, but how does someone expect to make a G league team, but can't pass with two hands
Phillip Fincham12 that is true, I’m not saying I had a problem with passing the ball, it’s just they never put the idea that were left handed players in attendance. Either way I still impressed a lot of scouts, but it’s hard to get on a team without some deep basketball background.
Keep working try overseas hundreds of teams to play for its all about skill+networking 💯
If he didn’t make it in the Gleague, not worth it unles the pay for his apartment like they sometimes do in Spain, even in our 3rd and 4th league
I had an offer to play for a pro team in Boston for a new league called the TBL. But I already had a lot going on at the moment.
u should try pro overseas
Americans say go overseas so casually, ain’t worth it 90% of the time, especially if he didn’t make it in the gleague
@@joaquingrande371 you are aware that the G League is the only league right under the NBA right? Mostly all of their players come from the top overseas league, or colleges and get picked up there.
@@joaquingrande371 it depends where overseas in like which leagues
I'm curious will you be at a G league tryout for the Nets this year; if so I'll see you there.

Omniscient Negro 6’3 1/2
In G league tryouts it’s tough because all the players there have usually never played together so the chemistry isn’t there and you’ll of course have those players that it’s always about them and it isn’t, it’s a team sport and not a lot of guys understand that.
💯
Judah Bryant yeah
Thanks for your story man.
Honestly you complain to much “NO ONE CARES,WORK HARDER” says it all..

Yessir!
question: what if i join a basketball league gain experience then tryout for a nba developing team is it possible. I saw your video about the g league dilemma so it leads me to think its just all for profit.
Most of the time it is for profit, but you should always take a chance at it and see how far it takes you. But at the end of the day, there are more ways to maneuver yourself onto the NBA. I’m rooting for you brother, continue being great.
Question is ... are you going to try again?
As of right now, that would be a hell now lol
Judah Bryant respectable. Try to get a agent and try to get overseas
Kishawn OP that’s the plan.
This was well informing but man the 1 hand shit was dumb. At that level you pass with Both hands, but this is pretty good knowledge about the tryouts so maybe next year I go or maybe not since I am short. Goodluck to you tho dreams don’t die brotha.
Jonathan Simmons made it. Granted he played college basketball though. 19:05 that part was hilarious though when you were talking about the team walking in lol
J. Simmons was given a 1 in a million chance to be selected from a tryout. It’s honestly damn near impossible if the scouts don’t choose talent over politics.
@@judahbryantbasketballjourney true. People expect you for trying though 💯
Keep raising to the top.
damn bro...i was jus looking to tryout for a g-league team and while watching this video i thought maybe dude just salty he ain’t make it, but while continuing to watch this you seem smart, sincere and seem to know what you talkin bout as far as it being a waste of time and you being observant ..the cost of trying out is $250 n im not tryna spend $250 to for some drills and some scrimmages if they already have there mind set im 19 and can still maybe go to a community college and try and go from there but like you said if you impress somebody while at the tryout maybe something will work itself out..but then again what are the chances of that.. i know this hard to ask but you got any advice bro? Id really preciate it
it’s so many people telling me to take the safe route..go to school get a degree and a good job because the chances of making it is slim to none...but this my dream n I know im capable of atleast making it on a roster in Europe ATLEAST...I truly believe if anybody believes in themselves and don’t give up on theyself it’s no telling what they can’t do
LL Cool D if this is your dream, then go for it. Don’t let people give you a Plan B for your Plan A. Yeah it’s cool to go to college and have decent job, but it’s always best to pursue in what you’re most passionate about. If you want to make it to the NBA, then work your ass off to get there. It’s very possible, talent is never overlooked. Everybody has a slim chance to make it to the NBA, but there’s still a chance. So why not take it?! That’s what life is all about.
LL Cool D those who keep grinding and working hard to achieve those goals, will eventually achieve them. Never distract yourself from accomplishing your Plan A, that’s why most people fail at it, because of distractions.
LL Cool D and about the G-League, they most likely already know who they’re looking out for in those tryouts, you’ll see it when you get there, you see coaches conversing and laughing with certain players, then they call those same players up to go to the “actual” tryout. In an honest opinion, those tryouts are like a big payday for those guys, they know what they already have probably months before tryouts and they still persuade athletes with hoop dreams to go to them. But if you do decide to go, use short breaths because you’ll be running A LOT, pay attention to every detail, engage with your coaches and players, make sure you make 75% of your shots, have good footwork, show that you can be a leader, and please show them that you’re team player.
LL Cool D but if I were you, I’d take my chances going to community college, then transferring to a D1, D2, or D3 school, play great in college, and hire an agent to help me make an NBA or G-League roster, that’s one of the easiest ways to reach those NBA courts. G-League teams love D2, and D3 players.
Good game son!
PastorJiggz I appreciate that pops!

Judah Bryant thx I always play my hardest, which is my best chance
Let me know how that is I’m trying out for Northern Arizona Suns in two weeks
Did u make it?
If i enter the draft in the future and i don't get drafted im not paying for a g league try out just to not make it
User 654322 lol, I mean whatever you feel is best for your career you should pursue that. But, if you’re eligible to enter the draft, you’re most likely eligible to play at a high level, no matter if it’s the NBA or overseas.
Sound like a regular basketball tryout. When they say “core guys” they mean they have pieces already you still can make the team & get built around the core.. you trying to play professional basketball you have to be able. To pass with both hands it’s not biased drills. Them guys who probably walked in? Were probably the “core guys” lol
Those guys who walked in was literally the actual team. So many great players was in that tryout and not one made the cut. The head coach even said “we already have our team but, we wanted you guys to get the NBA experience”.
Jay Simpson I know guys who’ve participated in the National G League tryout, and were deserving of a roster spot. But some things never change, from hs, to college, to the pros, if a team already has their players, no matter how good you are they’ll overlook you.
Jay Simpson and “them guys” most definitely included players like Chris McCoullough and Theo Pinson. So many guys that went there should’ve made the team, and that’s a fact.
Judah Bryant can you register and pay the day off..I’m trying to go on September 7th in Brooklyn..I much rather sign the agreements and pay that particular day
MixTapeTMZ ChiChi well this is how unprofessional they are, on the advertisement, they said that they had reservations for a certain amount of players, and that your reservation had to be paid before all the spots were taken. So when I get there, there’s way more than the predicted 175 participants that were presumed of participating. But, when you go to the registration table, they tell you that you can fill out paperwork and pay for a tryout on the spot. I’m not saying it’s ok to fill out paperwork and pay the day of but, I’m also not saying that it isn’t ok. These people are unpredictable lol, so my best guess is to just follow everything that is saids on their website, because who knows what changes they may decide to do this year. Or you can just contact the people that work there, and they’ll tell you everything that you need to know . #StayBlessed #KeepBeingGreat
You got to keep the jerseys?? And you get shorts?
We keep the jerseys but, we have to come with our own shorts.
Hey ! Iam 23years old ,I played college division I in Taiwan ,iam 6'4 6'5pg sg ,Do i have any change to join NBDL? Now I play second team in our pro league. Sorry my english is very poor
741rockrock you have a very good chance, it’ll become even greater if you could hire an agent to persuade some G League teams that you’re capable of being on one of their rosters. A 6’5 guard like yourself has the ticket to play anywhere, because that’s what teams are mostly looking for (big guards). Just have to keep working, get your name out there, and stay consistent with your craft and everything will fall into place. You can even try your local G League but most of the time they already have their players.
741rockrock don’t worry about the English bro, I understood everything you wrote lol.
All BS they just look at flashy players who’ll bring attention to there team. Not the ones who are a real baller who can rebound and do the little things etc. They want big name players who played college. BS.
Dylan Garcia I feel the same way, the better players are usually the ones who ends up being screwed because of politics. We just have to keep working to show the world that we belong in the big boys league😎💪🏽.
How tall are you?
6’3 1/2
