FYI - If there is anyone left like me (Dec 2024).... By far the easiest way to get it working temporarily. The driver door open light shows in the dash when working correctly. When the dash goes out that driver door open light also is out. Power the car off (might have to hold the power off button in for a bit). Open the driver door. The door open light will not be showing. Leave the car powered off and start using as much electrical as possible (turn headlights off/on, turn emergency flashers on, turn interior lights on, push brake pedal) (that's all I have ever had to do). Eventually the door open light will come on and it is working again. It is a capacitor problem and I think this discharges the capacitor(s) and resets the problem (temporarily). I learned this from someone on YT but I don't know who so I can't give credit but I thank him every time it occurs. I bought new capacitors but would rather not have to go through this repair. I'll see how it goes. My 2007 Prius is awesome!

Thanks for the info but.... Why are you leaving on the leaking capacitor? It will leak acid eventually damaging all around the area. It's better to replace ALL those 3 caps at once.

so many mistakes made. Never use power tools on those componets. Seems like he cleaned the metal debris from the cylinders in the actuator. only 3 clips are required and he installed all 4. He used the wrong torque on all those bolts... and you should use a crossed pattern when doing that (same for the oil pan)... he seems to have left the same line filter in there too smh...there is a bulletin from nissan (NTB11-011 ) on the exact instructions. Dont follow this junk even the transmission oil refill was done completely wrong. I could write pages on it... im out

Man, a rattle can of reducer, and probably wouldn't need the buffer at all. Reducer or a spot blender will melt clear into water like. And you spray it on a couple times right after sanding and wiping it off to soften the existing clear. So your new clear bonds and becomes 1 with it. With the buffer its very similar, you're basically heating up the clear with the buffer, and sanding micro layers.

did the customer log the fault and was the fuel pressure dropping off at high rpm throwing up a failsafe ?

I've put the newer transmission (10,11,12) with only one solenoid into the older cars (07,08,09) that come with two solenoids. How I fixed the transmission was by using the newer Altima TCM. Plugged right in and doesn't look for the second solenoid. No check engine light. Drives perfect. Much easier and cheaper.

Black base coat is to hide the white from showing through the carbon fiber cloth if there are any gaps. Also works as adhesive to securely bond cloth to the part.

Thanks for this, will hopefully save me some dealer $$$. Just only slightly disappointed that we didn't see the three T66 turbos with NOS and a Motec system exhaust installed...

i did my transmission last weekend i had code p0747 which lost gears 2/4/6, the car also went into limp mode, i couldnt get the sensors from jack transmissions since he only carries aftermarket ones and you need to calibrate the tcm to make it work, but i go them from Shep transmissions, he has them in stock for 175 each, i did all 3 and all the micro filters inside both valve bodies, i also replaced both filters, and now the car shifts so damn smooth , i also got a video in my channel , and by the way your videos were very informative and help me out a lot, thanks

My gtr i Replace 3 sensor total 2 front the oil pressure pump location and other 1 more front the main valve body this ones sensors i buy front Dodson brand and not need to program just plug and play. The solenoids Front the first link I purchased in Jackstransmission I company i replacement douse ones because i get confused and i order by mistake my mail problem was the oil pressure switch! Get front dodson and not need programming!!!
