Graduation day 1974 .Bloomington California Gary, a friend of mine, his parents presented him with a beautiful near new Nova SS 350 . His was yellow, as I recall . Shortly after, he moved to Utah, and I never saw him again, wondering if he may have kept that car. He was a good guy!😊

My buddy bought one as his first car back in the late 70’s Wish we new what he really had, he obviously should’ve kept it. I distinctly remember the Hurst 4 Speed Transmission from GM, had a white handle that showed HURST in black letters. We burned a lot of rubber, used to go to scrap yards for tires all the time, just to burn them up in a night. Serious power, my F150 3.5 is 400hp they must measure it differently these days!

That is one badass ride. Always thought the 71 had the vents behind the front wheel well like the 70? But never seen a 396 car with the Hurst badge below the Nova and blown away how cool it looks, was that a option in 71?
