Howdy All Yellowironcowboys, I just recently got into RC's, started with Crawlers and really got bit HARD by the construction equipment bug. Started with a D11T, and have added a 6x6 articulated rock truck, just received an excavator and a wheeled loader. Sadly I don't have anyone local to move dirt with I guess I will just have to be content digging up the backyard when the weather permits here in the Nor-Wet. Dave

Question, It looks like they used the exact same design on the final drives, if so I would recommend to remove the cover & check the screws tightness of that retaining ring that holds the hub on if I recall correctly & check if lube is proper. I checked this on the D10 they sell & the screws were loose

I had to do some mods on the track tensioner to add some tension and to keep it from spinning and kicking the tracks off all the time. And smoke oil goes in the inlet tube that comes from the fan pump.

Smoke is the right red button

Should’ve just waited for the D12 Comes out 2025 it is apparently going to be the most powerful dozer ever built and be able to push more than the Komatsu575

I definitely believe they are single stage paint. May be baked on because the stuff on my D10 is pretty cured on there. Im not trying to be q dick or ruin the party but it bothers me that they didn't get those parts all properly covered. Theres areas of my D10 that are light as well.

What's your opinion on the quality hopefully the tracks aren't soft like the D10. Are any of you guys thinking of getting the Komatsu 575 when its released?

Glad to see u didn't give up on 988...looks like it's functioning properly, I just dropped a deposit on the new and improved 988 model to Toucan hobby, they're only receiving 4 or 5 of em so I didn't wanna miss out on one,according to Toucan, they've worked out all of kinks that they had with previous models so I'm excited to finally get one...hopefully I'll have it by Christmas..until then,I'll look at your videos of the 988...lol

If you can or know how. You could post some timelapses of your project. There are alot of ppl who vary much enjoy watch timelapse videos. I'm one of them ppl and this is the first time viewing your channel. What your doing is vary interesting. Only think some parts could be sped up, only if your looking for more views. Others forget about what I said. Or you could have a long version video and a sped up video. Twice the content twice the veiws. Don't have to post them at the same day long one could post first and sped up one at a later date and youtube let's you set a date when it's released.
