I love working with Drops yarns they are very cost effective and the quality is top notch! Also love Hobbii to shop for yarn, their friends merino and mohair is really nice 😊 but if you have a yarn store near you I’d also check that out so you can get a feel of what you like 🥰

To be honest I shop for yarn online a lot, for the same reason! But I also do a lot of research and watch reviews if available so I get a better idea of how the yarn acts 😊

Don't be scared, it is definately doable, I can tell you because I was scared to haha I usually don't follow all the steps with viki sews because I'm a little lazy 😂 But with this pattern I actually did stay taped in the areas I was scared might loose it's shape, like the neckline, side slit and the button placket. I hope this helps but feel free to ask if you're stuck. Wishing you the best of luck! 💖
