There has been Aurora Borealis activity in several phases.
The camera Sony Alpha 7S with 2/35 mm could catch not all of it. Often clouds disturbed the scene.

From the evening on (probably still a bit of late twilight!) there has been Aurora Borealis activity. The camera Sony Alpha 7S with 2/35 mm could catch not all of it. The cumulus clouds soon became more active in the area...but nice to see them growing very soon in some parts, too. Time-lapse runs with 10 fps.

From the early evening on (still twilight!) there has been Aurora Borealis activity. The camera Sony Alpha 7S with 2/85 mm could catch some of it although it was active for the catching of probable late season NLCs... Later I switched to f 12 mm and here to see to f 35 mm for the rest of the night until morning twilight again and again with beamer activity. Time-lapse runs with 10 fps.

Sorry for the youtube artefacts... Almost the whole night through...! From my observation point under more cloudy / misty / hazy conditions and within light pollution and behind the window pane. So there is some reflection and mirroring in the images. Automatic camera capture. Best part starts around 23:50 UT. Almost the whole night through...?! From my observation point within light pollution it starts just still during twilight through clouds...most violet. Automatic camera capture. Sony Alpha 7S Sigma ART 1,4@ 2/50 mm filter Hoya Red Enhancer. Time-lapse runs with 15 fps.

(21:04:39 UT it starts in the lower left edge!) I was waiting for Noctilucent Clouds. In higher areas some Cirrus clouds looked almost like them but I was not sure. So the camera should decide... Wow - what is this I wondered later while checking the photographs. The Ariane 6 rocket (ESA) had the first flight this evening... Sony Alpha 7S 1,4@2/50 mm Hoya Didym filter. 2 files per second now.

Happened yesterday (May 2.) as well with the Maxar 1 mission. Many thought an alien invasion had started 😂
Aah, yes, heard about it. Sky watchers have been waiting for Northern Lights (which have been faint). At my place it still was not dark enough and my camera started at least 90 minutes later. So, no de-orbit-burn for me this time.
