Hi! When you use the linked pad feature (send/receive thing), Maschine Software handle the track/loop export well? I am asking as in theory the receiving pad's samples/notes are not written in the piano roll. Thanks
HI, this is not something that would work well because the samples and notes are already assigned and adding other elements simply would not work. a way round it would be to add the sample/ sounds to individual pads then assigning a different starting point without spreading the sample across all the pads. thanks for your comment!
@@beatbreakdowns67 Hi, tried the other day, and the linked pads/notes are regularly exported as they were written in the sequencer
#TeamMaschine forever - Mk 3 is one of the most versatile things I've ever had the pleasure of using; Bit of a learning curve (for me anyways) but that's just s hurdle you have to overcome with anything !
Yeah definitely a learning curve but very intuitive ones you get going with it! 🙌
I"m not sure if you're trying to tease or you have legit reasons why you wouldn't play the whole beat, but that was 🔥🔥🔥
Tip 3 , Helpful.
I'm not too shabby at finger-drumming on my Mk3, as a real drummer (not a virtuoso, but adept) I adjusted and kinda got comfortable with it; BUT, I need to find some type of instructions or tips on how youz guyz (really great beat makers) apply and incorporate your samples/melodies and how to slice and do all the other things that phenomenal beat makers do .... BRAVO, great work here 💯🔥🔥🔥👍🏻
@kvkcoils8011 yeah that's the way. I used to play drums in college and got to a decent standard. I think having that experience definitely helps when finger drumming the co-ordination. I'll definitely do a future video about finger drumming and including sounds at the same time.
5:50 I'd like to know how to decrease the sample to match the tempo, instead of speeding the tempo to match the sample.
@Diplooo thanks for your comment, my most recent video, 3 tips in maschine covers this subject. Hope it helps!
@@beatbreakdowns67 Yes it helps. Thank You.
Not sure why you are doing it in the hardware whilst showing the software. It cant really be followed that well
@@aaalyxxx you make a good point. This may be a subject I'll cover again in another video.
it doesnt give me a drop down for vst when i try to turn the knob under format.
Is this when your trying to select a vst from the drop down menu of the software?
Drumsynth is actually the best thing I've found for synthesizing natural sounding drum kits. They can pass for acoustic drum samples pretty convincingly when done right.
@@EricJohnson-fh8zj it's an excellent tool and doesn't get enough shine!
Do you have any Maschine Mk3 videos on sharing your projects from computer to other DAWs ? I have Mk3 , Native Instruments on a PC, I've never been able to share my files anywhere, I've watched several tutorials, but didn't have any luck (?)
@klaytonvonkluge4905 you mean like using it with something like ableton? Ive done previously but never a video on it. Definitely something I'll do a video on.
Yeah, that's exactly what I meant - @@beatbreakdowns67 (Sorry I'm on another account ...) I can't load my files anywhere , can't share to my iPhone, can't share to BandLab, It always tells my my files are corrupt or something like that ..... 😡🤷🏻🤦🏻
The Rickenbacker bass sounds are all dope , they work with all kinds of different genres & styles, too!
Team Maschine , alright #TeamMaschine
Cool, thanks for the break down on the work flow and details on sample slicing and all - team Maschine , for ever, I use my Mk3 for so many different ways of music and beat making , Cheers buddy 👍🏻
Amazing stuff man. Almost 300 subs! Keep up the good work
Thanks mate!
That 1st record is a classic!!! Big Daddy Kane used that one on Big Daddy’s Theme! Classic material… 💯✌🏽
Haha that's insane. I chose all these randomly!
You picked up a Classic with that find!!! I got alot of records and I don’t even have a copy of that one! Keep digging!!! 💯✌🏽

@@jaxxtraxx thanks man!
Amazing stuff!

Great stuff, Chad , BRAVO 👍🏻👏🏻👏🏻🔥🔥🔥
Everytime, without fail, if i see someone using a Mk3 or "Plus", it inevitably excites and inspires me to go jam or record with my own Mk3 !! 😄 I love these things! Best 500.oo USD ever spent! It did take me a while to get to grips with Native Instruments DAW and I still have some obstacles, but I've come a long way and thanks to other users like you, @beatbreakdowns67 , i have learned a lot Love how you go outside the box and just "MAKE" your own tracks, instead of sample using (I have no problems with sample using tho, dont get me wrong, i do a LOT of sample use with Koala Sampler) But when you make your own chords and changes and beats, you KNOW you aren't going to sound like a thousand other producers, because it came from your own mind and creative process!
Ok, i finally got subbed to your channel, im "KvKcoils" that you have been chatting too (this is my main musical YT account) Gonna watch your work flow here, CHEERS MAN! ✌🏻🙏🏻 TEAM MASCHINE 🎵😎
@klaytonvonkluge4905 subbed back also! Great chatting maschine stuff! With you man!!
Great finger drumming , beat, groove & vibe! I need to sub to your channel with my main account, (this is one of my lesser used accounts) nice work, and go, Team Maschine !
Team Maschine Forever ✌🏻👍🏻🔥🔥🔥🔥
Someone told me, you can then use NI's "guitar rig" and utilize its efx and cab sims, But I've yet to try that out ... Great tutorial, Peace ✌🏻👍🏻
@@kvkcoils8011 I've used guitar rig quite a bit. Excellent piece of software. Thanks for your comment! 🙌
@@beatbreakdowns67 you're welcome; I've also seen Maschine users use Guitar Rig as Efx on other kinds of samples & sounds, idk why , But it never dawned on me to use it in this way! Hope you're having a good one, peace 👍🏻✌🏻
@kvkcoils8011 I've never used it for that purpose. Only ever in stand alone mode. Odd why someone would implement it in maschine itself
@@beatbreakdowns67 experimenting, I suppose .. thanks for your replies and insight , I am definitely subscribed to this channel now ! ✌🏻🙏🏻
Couldn't get it to work personally trying this
Hi mate, what are thoughts on the sounds that you get when you buy Machine? Are they good enough or sound old and dated? Ive heard a lot of users use Splice a lot. Im thinking of buying one myself but dont want to be in a situation where im going to have spend hundreds on Splice and other soundpacks.
@maydaygoingdown5602 hey, thanks for your comment. I think the stock sounds in maschine are great but it does help to freshen things up from time to time. Bear in mind you can always make things sound different using pitch, EQ, and various other techniques to shape your sounds how you like. I've seen splice advertisements but I've never used it. I have bought a few packs over the years just for different ideas but the thought of a subscription based sample library doesn't appeal to me. Hope this helps!
🔥🔥🔥
Maschine Gang…🎧🎶🎵🎧💣🔥🔥🔥🔥 Love the Process and how you built the beat very informative…
hi mate.. been watching all your videos.. they are brilliant.. just cant believe some of the short sighted comments that some people have left.. your giving us some real gems and just wanted you to know i fully appreciate you for sharing them.. are you thinking maybe to build a course on maschine/beat making.. if you did i would be interested.. also may i ask is your background before using maschine in music already? if so what instruments? thanks.. Danny from London
@DannyEvo-fk8qw hi Danny, thanks for your comment, really appreciate the kind words. Yes the plan is to have a page dedicated to teaching people how to make music using the maschine and learning techniques to help people make more music! When this is available i will post details on this page. In terms of my background, yes I studied music at college, I play guitar and sing also. I love production and have been making music since I was young. Thanks again.
thank you!
No Problem! 🙌
Yass mate. Betrayal vibes from this one
Why would you want to make a beat like someone else..
Various reasons. The major one is to see the techniques used to formulate the artists sound. Thanks for your comment.
yes
Also can you speak about how you gain stage in maschine? Thank you.
Thanks for your comment! What do you mean by "gain stage"?
@@beatbreakdowns67 I have come across some samples are loud and lowing the channel is not doing what I want? It lower my mix and not the sample
My advice would be to use compression. This can help limit how much presence the sample has in the mix. I will cover this subject in a future video.
I like your channel. Thanks for your information and teachings.
Quality!
Cheers man!
Nice !!!!!!
Thanks!!
Great! Small issue your voice is in mono...Thanks anyway!
Thanks for the comment! Audio issues plagued me whilst filming, glad to say ive since fixed these! Thanks again!
Really great to see some love for hardware MK3 and no soft with good music for once!!
