The most believable (read: in-character) are Lily, Blanka, and Akuma. Though my favorite is Lily's. It's unique but it also speaks to something about not looking for a savior and just blazing your own path. Not the answer you want but the one you need.

Feels good to hear the voices of characters talking about strength, mostly guys like Chun-Li, Ken, Ed, and (regrettably enough because) Akuma😅

I don't think any character has said that, but to me, strength is the mastery of the self, not the power to subdue others. For example, a violent alcoholic can subdue his family and friends, but he's helpless against his own addiction, and all it takes to beat them is a more violent alcoholic. But if you can control yourself, life can throw anything at you and still not break you or corrupt your intentions, and no one can take that from you. I think this would be in line with Zangief, Dhalsim, Ken or Ryu.

I love that almost if not all the answers are like "I dont know figure it out yourself lol" Which is cool since this is this games message anyway "Find your own meaning"

Ryu with the best answer as usual. But I think it was a missed opportunity to use Ryu catchphrase "The answer lies in the heart of battle."

My favorite is Akuma because he just straight up drops the facts without being pretentious like “Oh you see, waking up everyday and doing the best you can is strength”. Almost same with Blanka. My least favorite is Jamie. “I’ll show you just watch me”. Like, my man, you’re not that guy. Aki and Juri just avoided the question but they are excused because they are mentally screwed.

I like how Akuma gave the most Definitive answer. Dude's been searching for worthy foes for most of his life, course he know's what to look for the most.

Seeking strength is not something you know just by asking someone, you must find the answer for yourself at least That's what I think 😅

Ken and Blanka probably have the most appropriate answers to our character’s question.

This gives me Conan the Barbarian vibes, Krom. A god in the Conan universe presents the Riddle of Steel to those who die. "What is strength." Conan's father told him, it's your weapon. Because it will never fail you. Yet it broke. Thulsa Doom said it's how many slaves you own and how many men you have comand over. Yet he fell to Conan. In the end Conan still doesn't know the answer but he has a good idea. The same philosophy as Guts in Berserk. Strength is to continue, to carry on despite all hardships.

For my money, strength is one's ability to impose their own will upon the world around them. To bend circumstances to their liking. Life is a maelstrom of conflicting goals. The strong endure it, and strive for their own desires. The weak are knocked aside and lose themselves in someone else's current.
