Add ko lang po. Especially sa mga may maraming work. Kaya po tayo nagbabayad. Lalo kapag tumaas ung income tax bracket at the end of the year. Dahil the higher tax bracket, mas malaki yung income tax. Although, yung higher tax, applicable lang naman sya dun sa income on that bracket. For example(these are not the exact amounts) kunwari 60k(15% tax) tpos 80k(18% tax). So kung 68k ang income mo, 15% lang ang tax. Pero kung naging 90k na ang income mo, below 80k, 15% ang tax, then ung remaining 10k will be 18%. Kaya yung iba nagbabayad, kasi kung multiple employer, at hindi mo nainform ung bawat employer that you have extra income, they will just deduct yung related sa kanikanilang salary na binibigay sayo. Kaya minsan sabi ko sa mga kakilala ko, either padadagdag sila nang tax, or bumili sila ng RRSP, or FSHA, at least ung pera ay mapupunta sa kanila parin, at hindi sa gobyerno. Also, talking about refund, again, lalo sa maraming work, nagcocontribute kasi tayo sa CPP at EI. At may contribution limit according to income. I cant remember the exact amount, say its 3500 for cpp, and 1k sa ei, once napuno mo na ung contribution mo for the year, the employer will no longer deduct it sa sahod mo. Kunwari, andami mo inovertime, that by june, nareach mo na ang limit ng contribution, di na sila magdededuct july onwards. Tpos kaya ung iba may refund and madaming work, kasi lahat ng employer, dinededuct ung contributions na un,(by the way, obviously its not for them, they give it to the govt for canada pension plan and employment insurance). So at the end of the year, kunwari tatlo work mo, and in total na nacontribute mo sa cpp is 7k and ei 2k, ang marerefund mo(from those contributions only, xempre icacalculate parin kung may kulang silang nadeduct sayo) ang refund is 4500. Another thing, kaya tayo nagkakarefund kapag meron kang rrsp and fsha, they all reduce your taxable income. The more you invest, the higher tax refund. Not entirely sure what goes under the books, pero in a way, you help the government kasi they invest your money them, so you and the government earns. Kaya parang binibigyan ka nila ng tax break in return. Those are called tax deferred accounts, while you are contributing to it, its nontaxable, pero when you collect it when you retire, thats when you pay the taxes lol. But at least, You got the benefits of it while working. By the way, FSHA is for first home savings account. Google it, hirap iexplain, but in a way its kinda like a combined tfsa and rrsp. It reduces you taxable income, but when you withdraw, its tax free. But this is only for buying your first house or if you have not been a house owner in 5 years(for example u bought a house before, but now renting, for 5 years na nagrerent ka, and ng decide na bumili ng bahay, you can use this, usually used for down payment. Haba na ng comment ko. Bored lang po. Hehe Im just a guy who does his own taxes eversince. So baka meron mga mali din ako nasabi, but so far un ang pagkakaintindi ko based on some research and personal experience:)

Maganda ang mga scenery na madadaanan ninyo papunta dito sa US. Maganda rin ang scenery papunta diyan sa Alberta. Nakapunta na ako diyan sa mga first cousins ko sa Calgary 5X at sa mga relatives naman namin sa Edmonton 2X. 😊
