In this video you will see some of the steps used in building the Rotary Park Pavilion. Thanks for all the work by volunteers, workers, and to the people who donated to making a special place for the people of Springfield to enjoy. Work continues on a walkway, in the bathrooms, the kitchen area, and landscape around the pavilion. All work should be completed by early spring.

This is a video of the Fishing Derby for ages 5-12 at the Rotary Park at the Reservoir. The event was held Saturday October the 8th and sponsored by Springfield Tourism.

I got a big suprise when I saw so many people at Idle Hour Park for the Bourbon Chase relay exchange. The last time I saw the relay exchange was at bottom of Lebanon and was just a big traffic jam of white vans. Both parking lots at the park were full, the armory lots was full and the River of Life Church lot had a many vans park there. All the people were friendly and cheering for each other. ...
