Chapter 8 is a very big chapter, in the first half the author explains why it is harder to set a goal for AI as it is often misaligns with what human thinks while setting the goal. Part 12 is the second half of chapter 8 where we talk how difficult it is to set goals and need to be very cautious and have self correcting mechanism to set goals for AI.

In order to understand this you need to watch from the beginning on what the author says in each chapter as it's a complex book.

One of the reviews is Dr Shalini's in Tamil. So, I didn't have any difficulty in understanding the subject matter; rather I felt uncomfortable listening Thanglish. I think you refer to Chennaites when you wrote "we". Does that mean that you uploaded this clip only for Chennai urban youngsters? But unfortunately, an old man from Jaffna, Sri Lanka who got settled in Sydney Australia also listened your clip. I knew Thanglish is an informal, hybrid form of communication that mixes Tamil and English words, phrases. This linguistic phenomenon often arises in everyday conversations, particularly among younger generations and in urban areas where English has a significant presence. Thanglish can also be a marker of social identity and modernity, bridging cultural and linguistic divides in a region where English is increasingly influential, but Tamil remains a vital part of daily life. But do you all realise that the language Malayalam was born in South India in the same manner but a mixture of Tamil and Sanskrit? While Thanglish can be really convenient and fun, there are some situations where sticking to one language might be more effective. For instance, in professional settings or formal writing or presentation, using just Tamil or English can help ensure that your message is clear and taken seriously. It can also help maintain strong language skills in both languages Have you ever been deprived of speaking Tamil? Language is more than just a means of communication; it's a key part of personal and cultural identity. When someone loses the ability to speak their native language, they might experience a range of emotions which you wouldn't understand. But we each and every Sri Lankan Tamils very well knew about it. When something is in abundance you wouldn't know the value of it. Being deprived of speaking one's mother tongue can be deeply unsettling. Language is more than just a means of communication; it's a key part of personal and cultural identity. When someone loses the ability to speak their native language, they might experience a range of emotions. Overall, the experience of being deprived can be a poignant reminder of the deep connection between language and identity. When the circumstances arise that you pack whatever you can grab from your household and leave your mother land only you will understand this feeling. Overall, the experience is often a complex mix of grief, fear, and resilience, reflecting the profound impact of being forcibly displaced from one's homeland. BEWARE son.
