    had an idea to do a similar concept, shorter rollers distributed on a helical path. The concept could be engineered to take real load, with less bending loads, and have decent smoothness at high speed. straight line speed is important in the autonomous warehouse, and traditional mechanums suck because the long rollers which flex too much to provide smooth ride at high speed.

    Can I get the reference for twisting microactuators like in 0:52?

      As seen at 0:30 each of the three sections of the actuator has two separate tubes, filling just one of each (say, the one farther clockwise) will cause the entire actuator to twist (in my example, it would twist counter-clockwise).
