Thank you for watching! Our Royal Caribbean excursion was first thing in the morning for our ship. If your ship tenders in the afternoon, I would say you take the tender as a group at 4:30 pm. Usually you all meet in the theater first. Once you take the tender then you get on a bus to Oia. Do you know how many ships will be there that day? Looks like you will be able to see a beautiful sunset there! 😊

This was very helpful :) I believe there will be around 4 ships including ours, so it'll probably be a little chaotic (2 ships will arrive earlier around 7am while ours and another ship arrives around 2pm). Either way, we're still super excited!!

Thank you for watching! The ship stays in the lake. Many passengers got off on boats at the lake and went on the excursions to the Pacific Ocean. It was a long day for them, but many said it was worth it! We pick up those passengers in Colon at night. Going through the Panama Canal was a bucket list event for us! If it is hot and humid and you need a cool place to watch the locks....go into the fitness center, you will get a great view! Have a fun cruise!

We loved it so much that we reserved the same stateroom on Apex's sister ship the Edge out of Sydney, Australia to New Zealand. A bucket list trip for us! You will love this room. Yes, the Ancient Ephesus tour included the site entrance tickets, since it was a cruise ship sponsored excursion. Have fun! And make sure you wear very good shoes, because we saw several people slipping and falling down on the marble floors! (If you re-watch the video, there are several ambulance phone number signs!)

Hi! Thanks for watching! You will have a great time in Santorini. If your cruise ship is the only one left after 6pm I would recommend staying and going back on the cable cars. One hour is not enough time in Fira. That is my opinion. 😊

Thanks for watching this video! The time of the booking was 7:15 am. We met at a coffee shop and walked two blocks to the entrance.

The price for "Taste of Sorrento and Pompeii- Small Group" was $329 US per person. This was a very pricey excursion. Prior to the pandemic it was $165 US per person. 😰

Our tour was one of the first buses to Oia in the morning. Our goal was to get the iconic photos of the blue domes etc. without many people there. If you and your family want to shop, then the 90 minute time frame in Oia will be too short. However, there are many shop and restaurants in Fira which is where the tour ends. That’s where we ate lunch and shopped for souvenirs before taking the cable car down to the tender area. Hope this helps! Have fun on your Mediterranean cruise with your family! 😊

Did you have much time to shop in Sorrento? Did you wish you had a guide in Pompeii? I’m hearing it’s best to have a tour guide. One more question. Did they take you to the cameo factory? I hear they take up too much time and you don’t get to go through the museum in Pompeii.

@sarajohnson2589 Hi, they took us to a wood shop in sorrento. I wasn't interested in that I felt we had enough time . Two hours to shop. We had about 12 people per tour guide which was great. So we had a guide. I don't think they took us to a cameo factory. They took us to a wood shop in sorrento and a shell factory at pompeii

@sarajohnson2589 Hi I would also like to add we didn't take this tour out of Naples we did dock near the Almafi coast with royal and it was an hour and a half to the farm.

We did not go through the museum. If you cam swing it then get a private guide.

Thank you for watching my video! You do not have to worry about the amount of walking. Once you enter the museum entrance, you will be touring the Vatican museum first, then the Sistine Chapel where you will be able to sit on benches while viewing all the beautiful murals and paintings up above you. Then since you are on the Pristine Sistine tour, you will take the shortcut to St. Peter's Basilica. (The tour runs only one way, you will never back track where you have been.) Hope this helps! Yes, the bus is waiting at the port, you do the bus tour first to Oia and then you end in Fira where you can shop and eat lunch and then take the cable car down. The cost of the cable car is included in your Royal Caribbean Cruise excursion. Hope this helps! 😊

Went in September 2023. The tour was first thing in the morning so it was not crowded!

The room at the Hilton LAX had a king size bed. Special touches were the blackout curtains and the sound resistant windows. Had a very peaceful night even though the airport is close by.
