I like the comment "scratches end runs." Good one. Lol. Good practice!
Reminds me of Christmas
@ButchKas How so ?
Great drill. I like the six ball rotation drill . Can't wait till I can add a seventh ball. The drill added 20+ points to my Fargo in less than 3 months. Can't wait to add a seventh ball.
@jamescathcart4762 Wow ! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I am not even close to pro level pool, I just love playing. To think that a video of mine could help someone means the world. It is why youtube is such a cool platform. Thank you !!!
I've noticed that you often get up with the shot, try to stay down, then your shot will get better. I bought the 20-23, of course with your link. this will be my third J Flowers Cue. ;)
@Mag60t Well, for starters, thank you SOOOO very much for your support 👍🏽 It is greatly appreciated. As for getting up on my shot, 😔sadly, yes, I do. I am aware of it and working towards minimizing it. Thanks for the advice 😊
Hello, I have a muccie cue with a pin size of 5/16x18 Will the SMO shaft fit??? Please help
@@Hustler210 unfortunately the SMO is only available in 3/8-8 Radial and Uniloc QR at the moment. What I would suggest is buying one and taking it to your local cue repair person to swap the joint for you.
I have an SMO and absolutely hated the Taom tip. Had it replaced with a Moori Medium and it is golden. Those who want to go that combo, the shaft does come with an option for a Moori Medium tip. Did you try installing the weight bolt? I did and I love it.
I am using the Thoroughbred M/S tip, I absolutely love it. My 2nd favorite tip is the Zan Medium. No, I haven't tried the weight bolt in mine, maybe the 1st few shots, then I took it out and never looked back. Thanks for tuning in and supporting my channel ! Cheers 🍻
How is it(crown)compares to the standard jflower carbon?
The Crown 👑 carbon fiber is a slightly higher grade. And it has a little less deflection than the classic shaft.
Can i pare jf10 series with SMO shaft ? Thanks for the answer
@TuanNhienNguyen Absolutely! It must be the 3/8-8 radial pin tho. Some older JFlowers cues had a 3/8-11, for that pin you would need to have a cue tech put an insert in the SMO and retap. jflowerscues.com/product/s-m-o-carbon-fiber-shaft/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice/
i just got this case. there is a picture of spider man on the zipper handle things. weird! also the strap doesn’t fit very good around the shoulder or across the chest.
@shabouga I am sorry to hear the strap is uncomfortable for you. This is the 1st I have heard of someone not liking the strap. It is nicely padded. Maybe it takes a little time to break in is all.
yea it will probably break in. it’s not really long enough to throw it over your head which i would prefer. it’s a nice case. the spider man pictures though! what’s up with that?
does yours have spider man pics ?
Excellent video
@@youngdade8800 Thank you 😊
@YaworskiPoolPractice have you ever heard of Raven cues. If so pls reply something back, I'm stuck between saving $200-250 and I'm not sure what to do
Would you be able to tell me how this compares to the predator Revo shaft? One of the things I experienced with that shaft pretty quickly was not only was it hard to accommodate for the lack of deflection, but I actually missed more shots because of how much extra spin the cue ball would have due to the technology of the shaft. I would over cut and undercut shots because of the spin induced throw from the spin. It was considerably more than any other carbon fiber shaft I’ve used on the market. This shaft is declaring that it’s less deflection than the Revo so I’m wondering if the same factors occur with this shaft that do with the Revo.
@fishblade2 Yes, slightly less deflection than the Revo. You can put a considerable amount of spin on the ball. I've always felt a shaft or cue is a personal item and subject to the owners' preferences. This shaft will take an adjustment period, but once you get used to it, you should notice your long shot percentage go up. Then, place your focus on dialing in the spin. Remember, less is more with this shaft, so you can keep your cue tip closer to the middle of the cueball and achieve the same action as your current cue. Hope this helps. jflowerscues.com/product/s-m-o-carbon-fiber-shaft/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice/
22:31 I think those side holes inside of the case are for the straps to fold in so it doesn't flap around
@benlim5316 oh perhaps ! I never considered that. Thanks
@YaworskiPoolPractice no problem, it's just a guess lol. I love your videos, watch them 3 or 5 times. I'm sure my wife is sick of it but I love watching pool reviews and you're doing an awesome job! Hopefully see you at the westerns 2025 😁🫡
I just got my Jflowers Cue with SMO shaft I love the feel and hit of the Cue, balance it good and the SMO shaft is very low deflection.
@@Kryp2nurd so glad you like it ! Thanks for the support.
Its not very compelling when the graphic showing the deflection comparison misspells "Ignite"
@@thestever haha ! The numbers are what matter.
Does the padding dividers inside the case go all the way down? Also, I am considering getting the JFlowers jump cue. I prefer wrapless. Is there a construction difference between the wrapless and the sports grip models?
@wc5839 99% sure the paddin goes all the way. Our 1st model jump cue is the only wrapless option if it is still available. I recommend the newer models with the wrap tho. jflowerscues.com/product-category/jflowers-cues/jump/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
If I had this cue I'm sure Efren Reyes could beat me with a crooked stick African lions had been chewing on for 2 weeks. Good enough excuse to buy one huh? 😂
Where’s the cue case on the website? I don’t see it.
Follow this link 👇🏽 jflowerscues.com/product/soft-case/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
What tip do you recommend?
I dont usually recommend a tip. There are so many good ones out there. The Kamui clear soft that comes on the Crown Shaft is decent. The TAOM fusion is a great tip. I also like Thoroughbred tips and Zan tips myself. I am about to try a new synthetic tip called the Recoil from Bulletproof. 👍🏽
I've had this case for quite some time now and completely agree with Andrew on this one. As a person who came from a bulky ACME case that was incredibly heavy, this case was a game changer. Very lean and organized. For the next iteration of this case the biggest improvement I could suggest is having the organization pocket in the front. Because it's on the back and the direction the top pocket opens to access cues, I find that I'm flipping the case a lot to access the pocket and when I'm assembling and disassembling my Cues. Don't know if thats possible but it's something to think about in the future. ❤
I get better faster trying to run an 8 ball rack. If I don't run out I start over. If I scratch, I start over. It teaches you position. I also do not give myself ball in hand.
Cool. I play against the ghost a lot. I give myself extra points if I run out off the break, if I scratch, don't make a ball or just have a tough table, I start with ball in hand. Sometimes in competition your opponent gives you a ball in hand. You need to be good at running out difficult tables starting with ball in hand too. Practice is great in all forms. Whatever works best for you.
@@YaworskiPoolPractice I do both, However not doing ball in hand helps me use my head to get out of tuff situations or a better perspective on safeties. I also use it as as practice for my breaks. I have done the drill in the video you recommended. What I also started doing is putting all 15 balls on the table at random with ball in hand. Try to make them all. For every miss I give a point. I try to get the lowest score possible. That's my fun practice.
Nice pool sir andrew. Nice meeting you and your family. Riverboat Deckhand LOUIE 😊
Hi Louie 👋 Salamat Po ! I knew who you were right away !
nice
Well then you are lucky they sent you a cue that exactly weight as ordered. I got one that was completely out of balance very butt heavy and not the weight I ordered. I ordered 19 ounce got 19.2 ounce. But with a butt heavy as 15.6 ounce which is way to much for a 19 ounce cue. So be warned when onderring at this company they will not solve the issue best you can get is get your money back, but then they do not want you anymore as customer. You have to accept the cue as is. If you are a serious player I advise stay away from this. They said to me their butts and shafts all have different weights and get combined to be roughly the weight you order. So If you are lucky the cue has good balance or very bad if you are not.
Seriously, are you complaining about .2 oz ? Cmon man lol. Custom cue makers probably don't want to talk to you either haha wow. 😆
Im considering getting the crown shaft vs the SMO only because the SMo has been out of stock for several months. How significant is the deflection between the 2 shafts?
The shafts are laid out by deflection The Crown 👑 shaft is in between the classic and the SMO. Please use my link whatever you go with. You can sign up to be notified when the SMO shafts are back in stock. Suppossed to be mid June. CROWN 👑 jflowerscues.com/product/crown-carbon-fiber-shaft/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice SMO jflowerscues.com/product/s-m-o-carbon-fiber-shaft/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice Thanks for tuning in !
i would spend hours with this break rack!!!
At frame 11:18. I believe you can see a line, from the 1st diamond on the left rail, where are placing the Cue ball, through the Spot, to the 1st Diamond from the right on the end rail... Try that ....
Thanks!!!
A very generous trade in of my old McDermott cue allowed me to buy a Quetec carbon fiber cue. It is 19 ozs with an 11.8 tip. I have had a couple of practice sessions and while I make shots previously missed consistently I observed much more action on the cue ball. I am 81 years old and haven’t played for 45 years. The technology and amount of information is amazing. Are you playing on a 7 foot table or are you a big guy? I am enjoying this 10 ball video. I have never played anything but 8 ball. Thank you for your demonstration and commentary. I would like to see a video on breaking techniques.
Thanks so much for tuning in ! I am just a avid amateur player like yourself Jack. 10 ball is a great game. My table is a 7ft.
@@YaworskiPoolPractice Thank you for your response. You may be an amateur but I can tell you from what I saw you play at a much higher level than me.
u mean backed up by 3 grandpa's oldies who are at the end of their career and are happy to be using any sponsorship hahahaha :D
Try it. One thing you can't escape is time. You will get older yourself, and when you do, you will probably not have had a "career" at all haha ! 😂 No respect. Also, Jayson Shaw isn't old. lol what are you even saying ? Anyway, pick up the shaft and give it a go. It is incredible, seriously. jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
@@YaworskiPoolPractice You should try whyte carbon, its 10 times better than SMO, ive tried SMO myself but have you tried whyte carbon?
@@xanh350 Yes, I have. I prefer the SMO, less deflection but the Whyte Carbon is a nice product.
Is there a 5/16x18 joint flat face
It is available in 3/8-8 radial and Uniloc QR jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
Is it still possible for me to find this cue?? I can’t find any mentions of that cue anywhere
Yeah, it is still available in a few asian countries. A few places have it. It is an older model tho. Just search Jflowers SF-101 on google. We don't carry it, unfortunately, but we have nearly everything else. Check it out ! jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
@@YaworskiPoolPractice That's a shame. I would've love to see this state side. Especially more natural wood finish cues instead of a really complicated design like the models Jflower has up right now. Do you think you will ever review the Crown shaft and compare it between the SMO and their regular carbon fiber shaft?
Lol Self serving
😔 Sadly yes.
Thanks my guy for doin the 8 ball ghost walk through!
I'm glad you enjoyed it amigo !
@@YaworskiPoolPractice ive always used the ghost for rotation practice... not sure why in my mind it was forbidden for 8 ball, just seems silly becuase its a great approach to practicing pattern play.
And he uses Tiger fortis shaft cues
Yes, he is a Tiger sponsored player.
I don’t think that’s full inlay. It’s a mix of inlay and overlay both
The website says it is an inlay model. What parts do you think are overlay ? I'm curious.
Just FYI Jayson Shaw is also using the SMO shaft. He's also one of their main sponsors. I talked to him at the Super Billiards Expo a few days ago and he loves it. Also, its not really public knowledge yet but they also signed another big name pro. They aren't going anywhere anytime soon. I never liked JFlowers brand before. I use custom cues to shoot with and collect them. I thought JFlowers was just a cheap brand with cheaply made carbon shafts as the selling point. I was completely wrong. They have two lines of cues with inlays and they are unbelievably well made. I ended up buying one at the expo. It's a prototype model that isn't being released so it's a one off. The amount of inlays is nuts. It's gorgeous and i got the SMO with it. If any other company made this cue that i got, they are charging 6k minimum. Not joking. Can't wait to use it tonight.
Yes, as an ambassador myself, I am well aware of the other pros and ambassadors on our team. I have been a fan of the brand since joining in 2021. I would love to see pictures of your cue !!! Sounds amazing. I have used a bunch of different models. And all the shafts. The SMO is unbelievable. Msg me the photos here or on my fb pg facebook.com/yaworskipoolpractice/
I have the SMO but I don’t really like the 12.5 size myself and I play really so much better with my buddies 12.9 Revo. How would you compare the 12.9 Crown to the 12.9 Revo???
I like the 12.9mm Crown shaft. Deflection wise, the Revo is lower than the Crown shaft. So, personal choice there. Some people like a little more deflection. Price wise there is no comparison, the Crown shaft is less than half the price of a Revo. jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
I helped Jflowers sell some cues to my pool buds. But not anymore. These people sent me the wrong cue and told me to use it anyway cuz they were sure I would just love it. Nope. POS. The seller was a real loser and made me the ultimate loser of $600. Never again. And now that Jayson Shaw is on board, all the players over here just laughed and said they wouldn't buy anything from them in the future. Too bad so sad.
Sorry you have had a bad experience. What does this have to do with my unboxing video curious ?
Did they test it against whyte carbon or becue carbon fiber shafts??
It has been tested against The Revo, Mezz and Cuetec among others. Pretty sure the Revo has been tested vs the Becue not sure about the Whyte Carbon. Anyway, the previous lowest deflection shaft was widely known to be the Revo, the S.M.O is lower. Thanks for the response 👍🏽 try the SMO. GET YOURS HERE : jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
All this thing about deflection is a way commercially overhyped. Actually, sometimes we need some amount of deflection to be able to make some shots. If shaft deflects too much that's a bad thing. If shaft doesn't deflect at all - that's a bad thing too. BTW in all these shots I don't see any I can't make with my old wood 314-2 shaft or with any other shaft. I never tried S.M.O shaft but Jacoby Black v4 is the best carbon shaft I ever played with.
Scientifically, there will always be a little deflection. Having extremely low deflection has its advantages. I could make these shots with any shaft aswell it is how you adjust and how often you can make them. Having lower deflection keeps the cueball closer to the shot line when applying spin to the ball and that will increase your potting percentage. As for the SMO shaft, you should try it. Thanks for tuning in and for your response. Get your SMO here 👇🏽 jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
I found things I didn’t like about this case. One were those zip side pockets and many more . So I sold it today on OfferUp 😂 . But I love my other jflowers blue soft case.
Did you use my link ? In the future please do. My personal favorite JFlowers cases are the butterfly I have now and the 3x5 soft case with the organizer. jflowerscues.com/ref/YaworskiPoolPractice
I think those sideholes inside are extra filling to support and protect the cues. But overall very nice case.
Hi bro What it's the best of hardness and tip for smo shaft ?
Personal preference for sure. It comes with the TAOM Fusion. But I am currently using a How Titan Hard I like it. Also, I like Zan medium tips. I prefer the TAOM Pro series tips to the Fusion. But like I said it should suit your style of game.
24:55 mark you lost sound. Cool looking case though!
Thanks I fixed it in a couple m8nutes lol.
Lowest deflection shaft? I don’t think so but I need to test this. I think my “Top Spin” Carbon Custom shaft have the lowest deflection. Best regards Tobias
no idea why youtube is recommending this vid for me to watch. It does however confirm american pool is a mickey mouse game vs english pool!
English pool isn't as hard as you think it is. Snooker is the tougher game. American pool is different sure, but it is fun to play. I wish I had room for a 9ft pool table. Anyway, thanks for tuning in.
English pool is different for sure, with the cb being smaller! I believe in American Pool you have to have more power shots in your arsenal and jump shots! While in English pool at the high level, the cue ball control and the patterns must be much more precise! @@YaworskiPoolPractice
You spend too much time gocking at the cues I want to see performance. Do you even know how to shoot pool ?
Yes, I can play a little. This is a review video of the cue specifications. There is a little on the performance at the end if you watcj all the way through. Thanks for tuning in ! I appreciate you, even if you are the way you are.
Hey, how does the crown compare to the SMO? I have an SMO and it's literally zero deflection, looking for something with a bit more feel but still lower deflection than the Jflowers classic shaft
The Crown 👑 has more deflection, it is actually close to the middle between the classic and the SMO. My advice if you want that little bit more, stick with the SMO as it is really amazing once you get used to it. Give yourself ample time to adjust. You can also do what I did and switch to a hard tip. A harder tip causes a tiny more deflection I find.
@@YaworskiPoolPractice How would you compare the crown to the cuetec cynergy or the Revo?
@@odraodee sorry I missed this. The SMO has lower deflection than both the Cynergy and the Revo
@@YaworskiPoolPracticewhich other brand's carbon fiber shaft would you say is comparable in terms of deflection to the crown shaft?
"perfectly round"? I didn't realize all carbon fiber shafts were not perfectly round.
It depends how the tubes are made. In some variations of CF tube production, there is a seam. On lower quality shafts you can sometimes feel it. The CF tube quality is higher.
A nice commercial.
@RichardsWorld Do you play pool Richard ? Checked out your channel. Pretty awesome ! Wish I could travel around like that. 👍🏽 Thanks for poppin by. I am an ambassador for the JFlowers brand. Too bad they have a dishonest spiteful customer service rep supposedly in charge in Florida . Dealt with one that was great but the other very un-ethical. The lady kicked my wife out of an affiliate program for using her commission with a promotion that was emailed to her and straight up told her she was trying to cheat the system. Very unprofessional and misleading and she has complete email list for anyone interested in the way she was talked to (by email) by someone named Sydne that was down right insulting my wife. By the way there website says that’s what commission is for to use to buy products you normally wouldn’t , not to be called a cheater for spending your commission pay. Then Sydne told her “don’t act like you’ve done so much for the company you have only sold one stick and that was to your husband. Which I emailed before purchasing to make sure that was fine and was told it was. How rude they need a better customer service rep for sure. Anyone interested in the emails i will be more than happy to have her send a complete copy of them for you to decide yourself how she was treated. By the way this was all over a free chalk with any purchase promotion that they emailed to her in the first place and she just emailed them to let them know that the promo code didn’t work and they were supposedly going to help her but instead she was degraded. Then she bought a shaft from them after all this and it was stripped out when she opened it and very hard to screw in but I doubt she even will contact them back because of how she was treated before. She wouldn’t have got the shaft but that was the only way she would get any of her commission back
I'm sorry to hear this. This is the 1st I have ever heard of poor customer service. Please send this email to JFlowers directly. As an ambassador, it is my job to promote and share the products and answer any product related queries to the best of my ablity. On a side note what did you think of the video review ?
@@YaworskiPoolPractice I liked the video but I wouldn’t bother sending this to them they know all about it and don’t care
