That's awesome! So I've been diving for about 7 years now, mostly in Monterey (where there are a ton of great whites) and I have never seen one. I know some people who have and nothing bad happened at all. Definitely do some research on how to behave if you do encounter one though, I would recommend looking up a scientist in Hawaii named Ocean Ramsey. Always make sure to stick with your buddy or group and you should be fine, great whites don't really care much about us, and if we're in a group they try to avoid us even more. Good luck!

Monastery is my favorite place for scuba diving around here 🤿👌🏻

It was a lot of things haha it was my first time shooting that gun with 2 bands and I was trying to shoot these fish like I do with NorCal fish. In NorCal you can get super close and shoot em, here you gotta shoot from a distance, socal fish are fished more so they're way smarter. I think the gun is ok but it's never really been that good of a gun to begin with, I need to get a bigger and better one for socal missions 🔱🤿👌🏻

I don't remember seeing a lighthouse 🤔 I don't have the spot saved, my buddy took me there 😅 it's not too hard to find tho, just drive along the coast and find a spot to hike down I'm sure there's more than just this spot
