Happen to me too. Love it when a glitch works in your favor, lol! This game has been really glitchy though. This wasn’t the first time it happened in the game either.

If you use Desolate Dive, you can "press" it, which will move the chains in the background. That's it.

Is there a stag station in stag nest or am I going to have to do that insanely difficult jump to get up to it every single time I want to enter it?

Like other people have said it's probably a stag lift, but I didn't know you could actually cause the chains to move by hard-falling on it, that's a really cool detail!

When I first got to the stag nest I fought this was some sort of puzzle and spent hours trying to figure it out to no avail EDIT: hours is an exaggeration

Yeah no that’s not a switch. At first when I found it I wasn’t sure if it was for the player elevator to the right but then I tested it by sending the elevator up while I stayed on the ground without touching the “switch” and it still came back down by itself.

That was an excellent example of predator eats predator.

It brings the small elevator back to the ground if its already up. I wish i could say im smart but i found this out by accident.

the chains are for the small elevator that u used to get up cuz i tried it an let the small elevator go up and the chains did too

Lore-wise, it seems to be a Stag Elevator. Mechnically, it is just a switch to call the normal elevator back down.

what i also have noticed is that some tracks the braking indicator is fine, others are worst.. i dont know how people arent noticing this or even dont use the assist.

It’s a Stag-sized elevator. You activate it in the video, but it’s broken, which is why only the chains move.
