THEY CLAIM THEY WENT BECAUSE OF POLLUTION,BUT THAT COULD HAVE BEEN EASILY REMEDIED WITH OVERHAULS. ETC.i think money changed hands between arriva and malteese members of the government...THEY DID,NT EVEN TRY TO SUGGEST THE EMISSIONS OF THE BUSES BE IMPROVED...VERY VERY SUSPICIOUS.....THINK ABOUT IT
What a stupid decision to drop those lovely buses. It would have been possible to install modern engines where needed. Malta has one attraction less.
They were yellov and orange, so small for a small irland with small streets, they came on time, they were all different and everybody loved them. They are all gone and won´t came back and I just wonder - Why?

No Mr. RodJames, this iis the price Malta has paid for an officious Government. the EU is not a cancer but a cure against provincial navel contemplation. If we didn't join EU, we would all be African right now. . . .
Hans-Jorgen Gotsche Well six years on from that comment and looking around valletta you could be forgiven for thinking you were already in Africa ! Here in the UK of course we have decided to undergo the long painful treatment to rid us of the cancer that is the EU, and I personally, along with millions of others, cannot wait for that March day 2019!
