Today we look at a single graded card….a 2021 Prizm Shane McClanahan Rookie Auto Red Wave. I knew nothing about Shane McClanahan. It was so cheap, I just bought it. Is he any good? I know I can find that out for myself, but viewer interaction is fun. Do any of you “speculate “ on players? If so, share with us. Thanks for watching.

Saturday Surprise #31 - A Couple Graded Cards
Hey Ken, I remember these! I have probably 6 or so of them. Where I got the Cracker Jacks they were sold in 3 packs taped together top & bottom. I think I remember getting at least one Nolan Ryan. I hope I can find them to show ya. They are probably mixed in the other Cracker Jack stuff I got in the mid to late 89s. The prizes were at that time Marvel Stickers. 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, the Marvel Stickers would have been nice prizes.
Cool Collectables! I might have to trade or sell if early 90’s. If 89 I would keep! If I sold it would be whole box.
@@rickyhicks9082, I would sell the box as a whole if I were to sell them. I just thought they would be cool to have, Ricky.
That’s a cool collectible. I’d keep them just as they are.
@@peterb4871, I plan to leave them just the way they are. Thanks Peter.
Hi Ken! That’s awesome to see those Cracker Jack boxes! I remember those mini baseball cards! Fun stuff!
@@PickerJimS, thanks Jim. I don’t ever remember getting any of the cards back then.

@@CHOEKRITHY, thanks for watching. It seems you liked the video.
Ken you outdid yourself! Love the video love the bills and the coins!!
@@rickyhicks9082, thanks for the compliment and support. I really appreciate it Ricky. Glad you enjoyed it. The four sequential ones were too hard to pass up.
Gave a video like. Very nice! I have a painting of the Monticello. Awesome stuff, Ken
@@Hodges1455, thanks for watching and commenting. I know they aren’t Mantles, Brian, but………🤩.
Nice cards
@@peterb4871, thank you. Your cards beat mine to a pulp, Peter. Your videos are awesome.
Solid group of cards!
@@rickyhicks9082, I appreciate that. I do try, Ricky.
Nice group of Cards Ken. Your right about the back Border, I think cards with a Front or Back border that is black or other dark color is I think what used to be called a Condition Sensitive card. Black is the worst border for showing problems as any bits missing will show white big time around the edges! I bet the David Wells card is a 5 grade because of the offset border. Personally, I like em not graded, unless I was going to sell them or a certain card. 😀🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I bought them already graded…..for less than the grading fee. They were a purchase of opportunity. Couldn’t help myself, TC.
This is a cool one Ken, I somehow have never seen this one before! 😀🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I never knew it existed when I was a kid. The things we find as adults that we just have to get. “Zebra 3. Zebra 3.”
Hiya Ken, I remember these. I might even have some of them. I'll have to look in one of the Binders I was selling from at the Flea Market in the 90s. 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, you might have one of the “Big Ones”, TC. I hope you can locate that binder.
Nice cards Ken!
@@rickyhicks9082, thanks Ricky.
Good video of some really old Non-Sport cards. They are in remarkable condition considering their age! 😀🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I totally agree about their condition. That’s one thing that hooked me, TC.
Hey Ken that"s about right on the price per box. I have the first set not sure about the second. I remember opening a box of first series to make a set back in 90 I think. 😃🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I appreciate that confirmation on the price, TC. What would you do…..open, leave them unopened and just save them, or sell them? Inquiring minds want to know. 🤔
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles I think I might hold on to them till maybe next year and see if they go up. If they don't I would sell. I hope that Opinion helps you Ken. 😀🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, that helps. Thanks TC.
Cool boxes. Enjoy your weekend!
@@Collectorholic, thanks for watching and commenting. I’m curious to know what you would do with them? Not sure if I asked that in the video or not.
Very nice! Thanks for showing.

@@ACollectorsDream, thanks Orlando. Vintage is great, even with non sports.
Nice vintage cards Ken!
@@rickyhicks9082, thanks Ricky.
Cool non-sports stuff!
@@JunkWaxHero, thanks Mike. I thought so.
Nice condition Program there Ken. When I saw this the first thing that popped in my mind was the CHICAGO CUBS Happy Days Cast Program I did a vid of some weeks ago! I don't know if you've gotten around to seeing that one yet. 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I’ll have to go find it and check it out.
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles It's on my Autograph cards Playlist. 😉
PMG's parent company is Certified Collectibles Group. PMG doesn't grade coins, only currency
@@667hodge, thanks for the clarification.
Love the cards. Reminds me of the tv set we had when I was young
@@BobJohnston-gy1nh, I thought they were just different and iconic.
I think they were all good cards! I think it's better to have a bad condition Gold Key Star Trek #1, than not have one at all! Pete Rose probably will be Inducted if not then next time. 🤔🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, thanks TC.
Gave a video like. My favorite was the '71 Topps Reggie Jackson, just love that card. Have a good one, Ken
@@Hodges1455, I think I have three now. Guess I like it too, Brian. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy your day.
Sweet Banks and Minnie! I like!
@@rickyhicks9082, I like them as well. Thanks Ricky.
Great pickups ! Especially the Van Brocklin , and I think that well loved cards have a better story to tell than high grade cards .
@@multiniceguy1.510, thank you. I agree that the well loved cards do have a story to tell. I don’t even need to know the story. I have my imagination. 😁
That’s a very nice note. I would like to have a graded one of any kind!
@@rickyhicks9082, I thought it was too nice to pass up. You don’t have to pay big money to get a graded note. I think this one was $75 which included shipping. I got a few other things at the time. The seller is in Florida and we have a good history. The REAL Coin Guy on Facebook. Bryan, from The Vault and Company, is easy to work with. He does 25 hour auctions or BIN (buy it now) sales on Facebook.
Hey Ken, personally I think these are highly underrated! However, I am a bit partial to great artwork. My Mom used to collect these, we went to many Mall & Hotel shows in roughly 89 thru 90 or 91 looking for all these for each year up to that time. There is a binder with all the sets of Diamond Kings up to that time that she managed to put together somewhere. Those bring back some memories of us hunting and going to the shows, it was an interesting time to be in the card collecting hobby (the Inserts by Marvel pretty much starting the Insert and special card Craze). 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, your mom collected these? That’s interesting. You need to find that binder.
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles I will. 😉
I just got an idea after I posted the first comment sorry Ken, but I guess you don't mind as more comments are better! 😉What do you think about me posting a few of the old Treasure Mags my Dad used to bring home from work every 2 or 3 days? As a little kid they were so cool to me especially the ones with those beautiful Painted covers. 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I think you should share them. At least try a couple videos to see.
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles 👍
Hey Ken! Those Wrestling Mags remind me of a place that was not even 2 miles from me where there was Wrestling every Saturday. It was called the Eddie Graham Sports Stadium. There was wrestling in was up to about the late 80s I believe. Just about if not all those in that last Mag wrestled there. Dusty Rhodes, Rick Flair, Wahoo McDaniel and Jack Brisco to name a few, were there all the time....do you remember Gordon Solie? What a totally unique and recognizable voice he had! he was there for so many wrestling nights it seemed like he lived there. Also there were so many Concerts at the Eddie Graham stadium from the time it was completed in 1967. I was 1 years old then Geez! I just looked The Stadium up on yahoo, and there is a lot of stuff on it there. I never thought about looking it up before and the pics of it bring back sooo many Memories! 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, that’s cool. I sure remember Gordon Solie and his iconic voice.
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles By the way how did you like the 2 Binder vids...I bet you recognized most of them.
Boy that looks like a small sliver of beach there! Was that your wife way up the beach? I thought at at it looked like someone Metal Detecting.....LOL. I've done that a few times here in Florida! 😉🖖
TC, it was a small island in North Carolina packed full of people that day. My wife was walking way ahead of me just searching for shells.
That $20 looks like it's roughly in the same condition as most of the $2 and $5 notes I have. I think it is a Good idea to do vids of other non-card related stuff. I have done a few also. 😉🖖
Thanks TC. I try every once in a while.
Hello Ken. I'd say the price was very good if it was less than it costs to grade a card. A 10 card and a 9 Auto would have been better, but a 9 card and 10 Auto is nothing to Sneeze at! LOL...Sneeze at, how's that for an old time saying! 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, it was less than the grading cost. I still use that old time saying .
@@NuthinFancyCollectibles 😆
That 5 is in Exceptional condition! I have a a few 2$ and 5$ Silver Certificate bills stashed away somewhere, if I find them I may do a vid of them. Although they are not in the same Condition! 😉🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, we would love to see them. Just think of all the places they have been. I just wanted this one. You are closer to the seller than I am.
Nice rookie! I love my autos!!
@@rickyhicks9082, thanks Ricky. I like mine for sure.
Hey Ken, great basketball slabed cards pickups. I don't like the looking of thoses HGA slabs for the sports and vintage cards. Thanks you for sharing and Happy Collecting.
Thanks Fabien. The HGA slabs don’t look too bad. I’ve never sent any cards to them, but I will buy one already graded by them.
Hello Ken , nice looking card. I don't know this young player. Thanks you for sharing and Happy Collecting.
@@undraftedplayer, thanks for watching, Fabien. I don’t really know anything about Shane McClanahan either. The graded card was not expensive. That should be a clue to me?
Hello Ken , you picked up some pretty nice cards. First time i seen this great MJ baseball card. Thanks you for watching and Happy Collecting.

sadly people will look at their cards a few times and toss em into a shoebox
@@jamesnguyen7069, I won’t be using a shoebox, but I must agree that will be the case with me. I try to be somewhat organized.
Those are cool older cards Ken most in Decent condition. As far as the Number, it was probably 55 cards or maybe 66. I don't know without looking them up. 😊🖖
@@TCsCollectablesCollection, I had to have them when I saw them. I have two Dennis Weaver rookie cards. 😁 I think you are correct about the number of cards in the set.
