So with the torque wrench and cam locked, do you continue to rotate it counter clockwise as you are looking towards the bow of the ski?

Works great. Use compressor plus rug to seal the fuel tank cap if you don't want to blow with you mouth

Manual says never start the motor, meaning turn the engine over, with out the proper oil level.

Is that your fuel line disconnected st the fuel filter that gas is draining from? I dont have a JDeere 🤷‍♂️

its something i forget what is called but is like an arm under the driver side that transfer movement from gearcolumn to the gearbox

I added a drain valve to the back of the exhaust manifold to make it easier to drain, also cut and installed a valve in the the bottom of the shower loop (which is the lowest part of engine) to make it easier to drain.

I have the exact same boat and sounds like I might have the exact same issue (or similar)and I winterized it. Can I pick your brain a little bit? save me a ton of time. how did you order the engine? anything different for marine application? just a 350?
