That's one of the coolest looking mowers ever!
Not sure about camper prices but it’s pretty nice with all the new stuff.
I agree!! 👍
Nice but I think it will take in less air with a smaller air filter and the engine might be tuned to have a certain amount of airflow so maybe try to get the same size one later if possible
The smaller air filter is actually the proper one for the machine. There is no problem with air flow and it runs great!
Free
I guess I could tell you that someone actually paid me money 💰 and was quite please to buy it
You are nowhere near welded that hot or good enough to get it out 😂
🤣🤣🤣
Sounds low on oil
It was much worse than that 😬😬😬
Does it affect motor function if it’s not spring properly?
A bad spring should not affect how the motor functions
Thank you 🙏🏼
You're welcome!! 🙏
I like how you have a video of a Honda that links to a video of repairing a Coleman.
What can I say? I guess I'm a man who likes variety. Got a bunch of videos on anything and everything with an engine
Shifter linkage i bet
Turned out the shifter linkage was still intact. We had to replace the whole transmission
What did you use
Just some dish soap, and water.
I hate the internet
Seems like a great time to delete youtube then 🤔
How much were they.
Around $200 each
Thanks! Helped a lot
Glad it helped!
you will bend the steering if you pull it by both skis !!!! only one !!!!!
I've never had an issue doing it this way. It helps it stay straight forward
So I bought one for my daughter & now I’m trying to get the connections all back the right way & having it running but I’m in need of help for the wiring diagram I can’t find it online
It's a simple motor setup. Use a volt meter to find the power and ground and that should help
Treat it like a house wash.... SH 12% some soap to make it stick and stay longer, let sit and then put that blaster. Wear goggles and wear a mask
Good idea 👍
Did it sound like it was starving for fuel?
Possibly. It was very cold that day and things weren't working properly
Lucky guys ehh here in south Florida the coral rock won’t allow for that
We got lucky with this one. It usually doesn't come out so easy.
😂😂😂😂😂
How many quarts
Approximately 5
Looks very uneventful for 9k
Accurate statement 👌
It might help, but I'm heading towards new shift bushings and cables and I'm going to lube the other end of the cables and bushings under the hood
Good idea
So with the torque wrench and cam locked, do you continue to rotate it counter clockwise as you are looking towards the bow of the ski?
And if you don’t mind me asking how much did you get it for?
Was selling it for a friend. I think we got around $5k
Wow that’s a steal
Wow how many miles on this beauty?
Around 100,000km
Must be a Lancer thing lol flex pipes and self tappers
Yea haha I don't love it but just need it to stick together
What state is that?
It's up in Canada!! 🇨🇦
Chevy motor. Distributors in the rear . Ford is in fton
👍👍👍
The only purpose I see is portability otherwise it's just a less ergonomic/comfortable snowmobile
Good assessment
this video is underrated. that's a lot of work! nice video
Thanks a lot! It was a very fun project to do
I have the same kind of moped
That's awesome! It's a fun machine to have! 🛵
Yeah super fun
I would add a popoff latch mechanism
Good idea!
I'm currently building a mini bike and bought the same engine. What size rear sproket are you using?
I used the original one that came with the bike. It seemed to work well enough for me!
How fast does it go with that engine?
33km/hr, super fun but a little bit sketchy going that fast
Cool. Thanks!
I'm not sure that's an Odyssey. Looks more like a Ridgeline.
🤣🤣🤣
same as mine! what to do if it overheats?
You would have to rebuild it or buy a new engine
Works great. Use compressor plus rug to seal the fuel tank cap if you don't want to blow with you mouth
👍
What
⛽
Why did you spend more with the tire on a rim?
Simply for ease of installation.
@fuel_up but you wasted more money. I could spend 150$ per tire with rim right now or spend 122$ then what another 20$ at Walmart to have the "carry in" to swap the tire from the current tire on the current rim. So, 142$ for 2 tires to be all said and done.
Aww man, that one was so cool looking!
Unfortunately we didn't have the time to fix it
That's a very nice looking selection of wood there!
Thanks! The project it coming together nicely. Stay tuned for the final result!
Manual says never start the motor, meaning turn the engine over, with out the proper oil level.
Nice mini bikes dude hope ya enjoy them
Oh yea! They are extremely fun!
Is that your fuel line disconnected st the fuel filter that gas is draining from? I dont have a JDeere 🤷♂️
Yes it is
its something i forget what is called but is like an arm under the driver side that transfer movement from gearcolumn to the gearbox
Ended up being a blown transmission.
@@fuel_up oh darn I have the same gmc with abt 800k km and run like a charm you need to maintain it carefully and choose the right parts and oils and of course good mechanics
Thanks
You bet!
I added a drain valve to the back of the exhaust manifold to make it easier to drain, also cut and installed a valve in the the bottom of the shower loop (which is the lowest part of engine) to make it easier to drain.
Those are some good modifications
I have the exact same boat and sounds like I might have the exact same issue (or similar)and I winterized it. Can I pick your brain a little bit? save me a ton of time. how did you order the engine? anything different for marine application? just a 350?
We got a custom engine builder to make us an engine. For this boat it was just a 350 marine engine. Should be the same block as a truck, but it has different cams since you run the engine at a more constant rpm. If just your block is bad, you could possibly replace it and reuse the heads, cams, etc. We were able to reuse several parts that were still within a certain tolerance compared to new
@@fuel_up Thank you!
Did you ever find out?
Wasn't able to exactly figure out the problem. The transmission was never serviced and the old oil probably was a main factor in it breaking/working intermittently. We decided to replace the entire transmission
