An ordinary middle-aged couple who decided to move from Portland, OR to Nashville, TN. Exploring Tennessee and other surrounding states and all they have to offer. We love animals, kayaking, exploring, and history. We follow a plant-based diet, so we’ll share our vegan and vegan friendly food options wherever we visit.

Quick day trip to Paris, Tennessee which is about 2 hours outside of Nashville. There is a replica of the Eiffel Tower there. The population is just over 10,000 according the 2021 census bureau. We walked around the charming historic downtown district and stopped by Paris Landing which looks out over Kentucky Lake.
Clarksville, Tennessee

Clarksville is less than 1 hour from Nashville and on the border between Tennessee and Kentucky. We went on a beautiful sunny Sunday. Day trip to Huntsville, Alabama which is about 2 hours from Nashville. It was a gorgeous clear crisp day, perfect for exploring all Huntsville has to offer. This video was captured on a warm (102-106 degrees) July weekend in 2022. We were planning to move to Tennessee and wanted to explore some things in Oregon before we left. A quick trip to Knoxville in November 2022. The downtown area was decorated with lights and a tree for Christmas! There was also an ice-skating rink! We visited Mellow Mushroom for our plant-based meal. They have vegan friendly options and really, something for everyone. I had to stop after about 2 minutes. The camera going in circles and flying across rows of stores literally made me dizzy. There are lots of easy ways to edit your videos before posting.

Yes, one time there is a leak by our house called Percy Priest reservoir. We are planning if the weather is nice to go this coming up weekend.
