Kevin watched WAY too much #vicegripgarage this weekend, but could a fella fix a pool filter while balancing a cold snack on his head? Nope. But we can inspect a pool while sipping on some delicious #jockofuel

Pool Drain Cover Retrofit
Переглядів 2927 місяців тому
Installing Aquastar's A10 retrofit drain cover. So simple even I can do it. This is part of our planned VGBA & ANSI/PHTA -7, 2020 education series. Always test system performance before specifying a drain cover.

Cocoa Beach filter replacement almost complete
Do it better: Follow to torque specs of your split bolts. X-P I do prefer lay-in lugs, but they aren't necessarily better, especially in this scenario. You also forgot to X the missing nut on the liquid tight and the pump sitting on some conduit.
Yeah, I didn't see that until after I had taken the picture. whomever installed it had it sitting on the pump. Don't worry, you'll get the chance to fix it next week.
My pump is all plastic, don’t have to bond do I .
@tonycordero955 does it have an electric motor? If so, there will be a bonding lug if it is rated for use on a swimming pool. If not, don't use it.
Keep on posting more videos we need more technical knowledge
Lamont’s has return envelopes to return for recycling.
Does this work with abs? I have a leak at a joint in a 4 way junction in a 2" abs drain pipe. Thanks
Yes
That plumbing looks like shit
What does that have to do with swapping a pressure gauge?
Help step-foreman, I'm stuck..
Amateur always carry a knoife
That's not a knoife
I'd go to the police. That's not a joke
No no, it does not work that way in construction
The only joke is my man is on the jobsite with no pocketknife. Dafuq kinda worker is that?
Hahahahahha and do what, tell them you didn't have all your need to have tools on person, as you are supposed to even in a portapotty? First off, your loss for being so foolish to trust anyone on a construction yard, secondly the cops might come out to the yard regarding your complaint but it will end up being payed from your pocket since your life is in no way endagered and thirdly but will probably happen first... Good luck surviving going home from work once your coworkers find out their boss hired a snitch. Where I used to work at, you can expect a beating at the very least for that behaviour. Wimp.
Okay
He was swimmimg
How does it work
Measures movement to plot points in 3 dimensions
Is he urinating
Help im stuck
And full PPE, even in the porta-potty! 🏆
🤣🤣😂😂
That's why you should always carry a knife...
Is he supposed to strip down to take a piss? Lmao
it's obviously the safety guy. He told the wrong feller to put on safety glasses next time he makes a cut.
Always safe
Dumbth !
What in the actual living fuk. WHO would do something like that? They could not find any other plug anywhere else?
Not really, definitely not ideal, we'll just keep the pool lights on until they come fix it.
pretty sure it just charges it so if the power goes out you can still call for awhile, and then when the power comes back it continues to charge? idk
Perhaps, but still not ideal
Nice!
This music causes me physical pain. Cute cat tho
Man if I ever win the lottery, I wanna go to a pool guy and be like "I will fund anything you desire to build" and see what he does 😶
Doing awesome Job Kevin on my property !!
Cool
thank you for sharing your knowledge !!!! i have 3 options and this will be my first option
This was awesome brother 👏 🙌
This is great stuff, having problems with the control, and it's tough not knowing all the quirks to it. Thank you so much and poolsure.
I removed a fitting from 1" PVC pipe at the bottom of a hole in the yard today. Since the PVC is rated for 140 degrees F, that is the temp I set on on my heat gun. It turned out to be adequate to soften the fitting enough peel it off. The cut in the side is critical! The solvent cement softens but is still wayeeee strong against shear forces (i.e. resisting rotation or sliding of the fitting on the pipe). But the cement is reasonably easily defeated by peeling the fitting off.
Fantastic!!!! Tried this this morning. Worked like a champ. And took about 5 minutes. Thank you sir for sharing.
That’s what I wanted to see I had made a mistake on PVC and tomorrow I’m going to fix it
So first thing is to test pool water for ph and chlorine readings and then come back and adjust the controller to the test readings and after that turn your dials back to 12 o clock
You should test the pool and then adjust the knobs to effect any change needed (higher or lower chlorine/pH) once the pool is balanced to the levels you want you could open it up and adjust the setpoint back to the 12-o-clock position.
God is REAL and he is an AQUATIC PLUMBING TECHNICIAN 😤
I'm not sure what that means
This only works if they have a job assigned though.
But you can go to anyday on your schedule, so as long as you had a job in the last 6 weeks, or will have one in the next 6 weeks, you are square.
Pet training clicker for those cuts, buddy. Excellent presentation, though. I like how you opened up and shared your own struggles, makes you more personable.
Im a bot
Lol😂
Guys really likes Makita
Not sure I get it
Ginger snaps are 😋. I hope we never have to use these forms either, but they are great to have available. One thing to remember is to stay calm, assess the situation and make sure the area is safe around you before exiting your vehicle. The accident you were in may not be over yet!
Very good point Andy!
Proud to be a part of the innovation of the industry!
nice!
Huh, never knew such a device existed.
Same with Karaoke, I sing my best songs at the last cause that is mostly what people will remember
In the Corps, we always had the same mindset as well. No matter how far we ran, we always sprinted the last 1/2mile. No matter if the actual speed was a dead crawl we gave it our all at the moment we could to improve that little bit more.
500 megawatts of electricity later!
I'm not sure that is how megawatts work.
Well that's one way to save a buck and waste 20 mins.
Thanks for the feedback. In this case we saved $235 and it only took 6 minutes, as opposed to the 90 minutes replacing the valve would have taken.
Always wondered if this affects the structural integrity of the pipe?
If you over heat it and over manipulate it, it could damaged the pipe by creating thin spots. Don't do that.
I am more confused after watching this
Confused about what?
How do you use the remote
It does not have a remote
Naes jobs me love good 👍
I have the tri pod but lost or misplaced the remote. the Ubeezize web site doesn't appear to have much as most says SOLD. Any idea without buying the entire product again how to get just the remote? Thanks so much
This unit does not have a remote.
I have put a wet piece of shop rag on the inside of the pipe to help keep the inner pipe cooler and then if you overheat the outside pipe it is less likely to melt the inner pipe. I like the insert fitting trick so well done. Of course, I have also been known to use cement on the inside and light them on fire a few times (learned that one from my Dad years ago). I now use a heat gun on the few that I end up having to remove.
Good idea
Thank god for those two. I was cooked. They saved the day.
How do you call the tool you used for this? I have a laptop that was "welded" and I want to reverse this tragedy if possible
A heat gun
@@kevinmcauley Thank you!
