I don't know exactly what to call this style, other than some kind of Americana, maybe, or even kind of New Age, perhaps, with influences from John Fahey, Leo Kottke, Ry Cooder, David Lindley, Michael Hedges, and Chet Atkins. The list could go on and on, but I don't know anyone playing open tuning slide on a vintage electric archtop guitar like I am doing in this video, especially with a long improvisation like this. I would tell you if I did know! I have not played out in many, many years. I'm just a hobbyist playing at home. I'm not Texan, although I have thought about moving there. Thanks again!

I have not tried one. Buddy Miller in Nashville uses them. He used two onstage in stereo touring with Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. I'm not positive it was the 5 watt model, though. swartamps.com/amplifiers_swart_AST_PRO.htm
