If you have an fx loop, you should run the 4 cable method. Will make all of the noise from the pre amp and power amp go away

Great suggestion. Susequent to recording this video I did see a video that outlined that point. I do use an FX Loop but only Send from my First Modulation Pedal, which is three pedals down the chain, as the Wah Compresion and Distortion Pedals go staight into the Input Socket at Front of Amp to benefit from the Pre Amp Distortion.

@@patrickkelly5004 Thank You Patrick. I’m honoured to still have you as a viewer. The progression made me think of the mid’70’s when I was just a boy. I really appreciate your online support as I have generally stoped posting covers as I have had my first UA-cam Strike a few weeks ago and am terrified of fighting THE BEAST that threatens us music lovers. Thank you Patrick. The 2017 Tele was my 60th B/Present in 2019. Fender declared the model, (that has Nickel Coated Wound PuPs), their best ever model to date. Not that I tried too hard as this was a very spontaneuos unplanned recording of the inspiration of the moment as Black Clouds rolled in overhead from nowhere, but when I do get the Amp and Pedal Settings right she sure does Hum and have great tone!

At a point when I needed some cash, I sold it for US$300, and a beat up old Yamaha dreadnought. I wish I'd never sold that guitar, but I still have the Yamaha, and it has a gorgeous sound.

@@patrickkelly5004 i can only imagine how you feel. Before I acquired my Les Paul in 2002, ( which sadly I ONLY played a max of around 2 hours a month only unitl 2014). I only ever owned very inexpensive three electric guitars until 1981 when I quit. The first which I acquired second hand one cost me a staggering ZAR 27. ( Around 58 USA Cents now!!!), but I worked in a Factory for Four Weeks at age 15 in the school holidays to buy it. I rode by bicycle 11 km each way to work a nine hour day, starting at 05h30. The guitar got me into my first performing band three months later, at age 15, and we played a three hour gig on a 1m high Big Stage for around 320 screaming teenagers at my ex- Junior School!!! But I was lent a cheap but better sounding, easier to play el cheapo Semi Acoustic Guitar and 100w a Japanese Tube Amp for the show. I later acquired that guitar, from a Bass Guitarist I later played in his group with. It cost me around U$1,50 in 1975!!!! I sold it in 1981 for U$1,50 and was lent a 1962 Black & White Fender Strat by my Brother-in Law. I thrashed it for two years in quite a good perfroming New Wave Mod Rocker Outfit! He (78) still owns that guitar in Cape Town.
