I wish they allowed to use the place to get a boat in the water to go fish around these islands.. As far as i know, theres no way to launch a boat there.

Not only fishing a protected no fishing zone within 30 m of a dam, but giving away fish to those cormorants like they belong to you. Pathetic. No Canadians in this video, just takers.
I put cardboard in my bag to stay strong with no boxes in it. Just an easy fix for me. Line the bag with strong cardboard with one piece I didn't do the bottom didn't need to.

I know where this is and apparently the home owner on that road bought the land and is starting to stop people from going there. Going to check with township if he can in fact do this. Garbage can and picnic table looked city owned

I got a 20” muskie out of there about 2 weeks ago few nice smallies just under 2lbs just when walleye opened i caught 56 of em over 3 weeks
Check out some of the vids on my channel i do alot of fishing down there an all around the city moved here for work last February from cape breton ns

Do you get a fishing license in Quebec and Ontario or do you only fish one side?
I usually fish Ontario side but some years i get a Quebec license. Some real good fishing on the Quebec side.
@@northsideangler8846 either license is good for the whole river! you just have to follow the rules of zone 12 for the license you hold! so being Ontario residence licence holder i can ice fish with 2 rods and have to follow all Ontario rules regardless what side of the river i am on. Quebec resident license holders can use 5 lines at a time (ice fishing) and also have different slot limits and sizes..

Super glad to see more people excited about fishing!! Just as a tip for the future, you had the first fish out of the water for roughly 2 minutes. This is way too long, as you want to cut the time out of water down to under 10-15 seconds (and that is pushing it to the max). I'd suggest investing in a nice net, so you can keep the fish inside the water while you are searching for pliers or wanting to get setup for a picture. Focus on the health of the fish first, always, even if that means no picture. This is so we can continue to fish in the future and the odds of survival of each fish you catch and release is almost guaranteed. Great catches!

I actually split the video into two and i do catch the drum on the same day. I just had this pic so I used it lol. You are right my buddy got a big ticket last time he was there.
