That's what I don't get jesus is the Son he's not the Father
@itocarloschitown1089 The trinity is a bit hard to understand, but when you start reading the Gospels and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you through it, You will eventually understand that the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit Are all God but in different forms
@@itocarloschitown1089 I highly recommend reading the book of John if you haven't already
@@jessebornagainit’s nonsense
@@murgiii9556 I bet you won't be saying that on Judgment Day. Get to know Jesus before the inevitable Judgment Day happens
thats very false the thief life life was going to end hence why he was saved after confessing Jesus is Lord you can’t now be saying Jesus is Lord but still live in sin that’s not how it works. If you confess that Jesus is Lord you should also repent and turn away from the old sinful life and be born again not just say it out of your move and still live however you like
@@BrianFrimpong-kf9xd Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. 5 Look how far you have fallen! Turn back to me and do the works you did at first
Revelation 2:5
So easy 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Brother to help you be more rooted in your assurance read Jesus’ own words in John 5:24, 6:29, Romans 5:17-19, 1 Cor 1:30, Psalm 34:22, 1 John 4:17, 1 John 5:11-13, the entire Roman 4 ❤
@NerdyNedo Also Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast
Faith without works is dead
@markdoody Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace, you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. When you have true faith in Jesus, He gives you his Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit starts changing your heart to naturally seek to do God's will and eventually produce fruit. John chapter 3 Jesus says a man must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of God Born of the Spirit, he says (aka have the Holy Spirit) That is it. Just have true faith in Jesus and be saved by his free gift
@markdoody We don't need to worry about works. We just need to worry about our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and his Holy Spirit helps us produce fruits
What about the scripture that says show me your faith I'll show you my works you're telling people they don't have to do anything
What about the scripture that says show me your faith I'll show you my works you're telling people they don't have to do anything
@@TheFlash69201 You don't. Did the thief on the cross do anything? It's by belief in Him that we are saved. When we believe he gives us his Holy Spirit. And then his Holy Spirit changes us so that we want to do his will naturally. You believe in a works based gospel
@@jessebornagain The thief repented belief yes repentance both Don't say he didn't have to do anything he had to make a decision
@@jessebornagain Everything is a decision my friend That's something you have to make The holy spirit is the mirror But you have free will You're telling them that they can be a whore Or a pervert And believe in Jesus And not have to change you are a fool
@TheFlash69201 Enjoy working your way to Heaven then 😭 I tried
@@jessebornagain You must be a homosexual thinking that God will save you simply because you believe I believe the scripture says even the demons believe and they shudder but they don't do what God says
The thief on the cross died his life didn't continue to be tested further than what he did at believing at the cross. That's not a good example. That is an example of repentance and belief without test You've never heard the scripture even the demons believe and they shudder
The Bible is full of IF'S you can fall away If you keep my commandments This guy is misleading you
The most prominent scripture regarding "falling away" is found in Hebrews 6:4-6, which warns about the danger of completely abandoning the faith, stating that it is "impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame
For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,
Romans 11:20 Paul says that you will be kept if you "stand by faith" and avoid the unbelief that overcame Israel. Hebrews 3:12-14 The Bible says that you will only be saved if you endure to the end. 1 Corinthians 6:9-11; Galatians 5:19-21 The Bible warns against serious sins that can keep a person from entering God's Kingdom. 1 Corinthians 15:1,2 The Assemblies of God says that if you don't hold firmly to the gospel, you have believed in vain. John 15:2-6 Jesus says that if a branch doesn't bear fruit, it will be taken away. He also says that if a man doesn't abide in him, he will be cast forth as a branch and burned. The doctrine of "once saved, always saved" teaches that once a person receives salvation, they can never lose it. However, some say that the Bible teaches that a person must endure to the end to be saved.
The bible doesn't support once saved always saved. Hebrews 10:26-27 [26]For if we go on deliberately and willingly sinning after once acquiring the knowledge of the Truth, there is no longer any sacrifice left to atone for [our] sins [no further offering to which to look forward
Is it biblical to say once saved, always saved? It's misleading because it may imply that once you're saved, it doesn't matter how you live, that you're “in” no matter what. But that's not how the Bible speaks. The Bible repeatedly warns us that God will not finally save you if you don't persevere in the faith and good works.
Amen!
What If you fall away
What do you mean?
@theboywiththetorterramask become an apostate
May God bless you and thank you for sharing HIS will with us.
Before I start, let me just preface that I am a faithful Christian, so I'm not speaking out of no experience with the faith or Bible. And everyone is entitled to their own beliefs, but I have a few things from what I've learned over the years I'd like to share. One, The Big Bang Theory was originally created by Georges Lemaître, a Catholic priest in 1927. It was not made in some attempt to disprove God's existence, and it's not evil or from the depths of Hell. It doesn't disprove God at all, you can still say he caused all of the stuff to happen in that order. Then again, it can't really be proven true or false yet, which is why it's still only considered a theory. Two, evolution is again, just a theory (the full name is the Theory of Evolution, but no one refers to it as that), but it does make sense when you look at it properly. While God is all powerful and could make the entire world in just 6 days, it's also totally plausible that those '6 days' actually took place over several centuries. After all, God is outside of time. Especially when you think about the fact that while He was making all of this stuff, time (in our understanding) didn't exist, and there's no way we could possibly know the time it took. We see minor evolution during the current time, so it's very likely the animals we see today were extremely different when the Garden of Eden was around and evolved over the years to what we know today. Lastly, Genesis 1-2 are mostly believed to be mythological, instead of historical and true in every sense. Either way, I think coming after beliefs that can very well be true and calling them 'from hell' is just a bit much. Then again, you're entitled to believe whatever you want. Have a nice day.
Thank you for the wise words!! Keep on spreading the word! God bless you!🙏
@Gloryigiebor1 No problem. God bless you as well 🙏. I'll see you in Heaven 🙌
