I hope Steve will write a biography on Lyle Mays

Decades ago, when I first started playing bass ( I was was drawn to the instrument after hearing Stanley Clarke, Chris Squire and Jaco) I thought Steve was one of the most boring bassists I'd heard. As time went on and I matured as a musician and a person I became aware of him being a consumate musician and bassist. Now I can't think of certain music without him in it.
