Richter - Veresov Attack
Переглядів 1
The Richter-Veresov Attack is characterized by the moves 1 d4, 2 Nc3 and 3 Bg5. It is a great system for players who want to take their opponents away from well-known theory, force them into unfamiliar situations and make them fight on their own resources. There are various modern interpretations of the Richter-Veresov Attack which usual involve White playing f3 at some point. However, in this ...

This is a wonderful Opening book because finally the diagrams are oriented from Black' s side, proving every publisher could do the same when an opening repertoire is for Black. There are model games which show the main middlegame themes to keep in mind. And the only con I found is the fact that this is ONLY for the Open Sicilian, the anti sicilians are not treated. GM King has made other books...
King Walks

Marching your king across the board - at times right through or into enemy lines - may be both exhilarating and terrifying. Nothing may be quite as satisfying as a majestic kingwalk across the board which brings you glorious victory. And nothing as tragicomic as a needless journey ending in epic failure. In the Zone!
Переглядів 514 годин тому
A winning streak in chess, says Cyrus Lakdawala, is a lot more than just the sum of its games. In this book he examines what it means when everything clicks, when champions become unstoppable and demolish opponents. What does it mean to be ‘in the zone'? What causes these sweeps, what sparks them and what keeps them going? And why did they come to an end?

    • @Mr.Checkmate-cy4lw
      @Mr.Checkmate-cy4lw Місяць тому

      Look the rating is a misleading concept. Especially at amateur level, we are not producing games without blunders like top professionals. Instead like I try to convey in the video, try to develop your pieces in the opening, try to have your pieces defend each other, And then ask yourself some questions, like what was the reason for your opponent's last move, did it attack something? And you will see you'll beat this bot in no time. Also ask yourself when you want to play a move, what your opponent will play next.

      I was using another computer. However with the previous one, I think I understood what was the problem, it was using the mic of the computer, and that computer has fans to cool the GPU. Strangely they say the mic has a AI, excluding background sound, well it doesn't LOL So now I'm using the mic of the external camera and there shouldn't be background noise. About the bot playing the same opening, it's because you're playing the weekly challenge which was the Sodium Attack (this week it's the Winawer French), and when you choose "Next challenge" it picks the next difficulty but still the same opening. Instead go to Play in the menu and you can choose any bot, and they all have their own unique opening repertoires.

    You missed the point. "Challenge" in this chessiverse site is that you have five different bots who will play the same opening. for a week. Next week they all play 1. h4 The site also has a "endgame challenge" where you play the very same endgame vs various bots. Now if you just want to play regular games then you must not choose any "challenge" but just ckick on play a rated game vs a bot of your choice .
