Just found your channel today. I believe Ange from Yarn n Yarns UA-cam channel started the 12 days of Christmas cast on. Your baby Jesus is very cute. I started knitting a nativity a couple of years ago. I still need another shepherd, the 3 wise men and an angel or two. I want to move the wise men slowly down the stairs until they arrive at the stable on the 6th and I don't put baby Jesus in the manger until Christmas morning. I say I do these things for my grandsons (who do love it) but mainly it's for me. 🤭 The decorations always come down by new year's eve so that 1st January is a brand new start. X

Hi Abbie I was excited to see you casting on a nativity, I’m also making one this year and my pattern should arrive today. I’ve chosen to do a knitted one so it will be great to cheer each other on, although I haven’t sorted out any yarn yet so I guess that will be my job this weekend 😁. Poor Buddy in the snow, my Mabel absolutely loved playing in the snow she’s a tiny Shih Tzu and I had to drag her in each time 🤣🤣

Love the stripy look of your first square. I agree with others. Pale grey would be a good choice for the top areas. Neutral enough to show off the stripy colours and wouldn't get dirty too quickly. Good luck ❤ xxx

That is going to be a beautiful jumper. I like the pale gray idea for the top.❤🤍

I think I’d use light pink for the main color. That would make the other colors pop. Yet it would be a nice bright contrast to all of the darker colors. Not to mention that it would pull the small amount of pink out just a bit.
