The Best Flatbed Trailer? PJ? Big Tex? Gatormade?
That’s the 1.8L not the 1.4L Turbo
Dude thanks so much for posting this video. Can't find much on these vans these days, awesome as they are. Just bought a 2000 Ram Van 3500 Maxi, and it appears to be leaking from the transmission pan.
I get messy every time I do an oil change just part of it I use break clean to spray everything down when I'm done because carb cleaner has a little oil in it and break clean doesn't I go 6000 between oil changes on full synthetic God bless brother
Get yourself a transfer pump (cheap) and empty the pan prior to dropping the pan. Way less mess.
It’s been a while!
Very informative 😂😂😂
Worse vedio
Best build on you tube
Hate to say this 6 years later, the engine you have is a 1.8 liter engine, which doesn't come with a turbo. A 1.4 liter has the turbo.
As a 6.0 owner myself…go kick it in the ass a couple times it’ll blow the carbon off the lifters and the tap or knock will go away.. also straight pipe as well
Nothing invested nothing gained. Knew less coming out than going in
Just bougjt a 6.0 with 179000 miles on it bullet proofed with no rust tell me wat i should use for maintenance this is my first desial
Frams can and do ckme apart and send shit through yohr engkne. Heap cardboard and glue? No thanks.
Where is the latch to open hood to battery
Mine is about to clock over 300k, sounds just like yours, glad to know it hold its self together
*1999-2006*
Not even broken-in yet :)
How do all you sum bitches have all these rust free trucks? Im in Ny and shit my truck looks nothing like these...lol. Id give anything to have a truck from where ever you guys are.
An entire minute of wining about it not being a diesel when this was supposed to be a “review” of the truck. Basically this entire vid was a waste of time.
Who did you say built the trailer?
Its a nice truck, I bough a 06 f350 with 6.0 232k miles last summer she runs good. Dont know if it’s bullet proofed but who ever had it before put a big lift on it so hopefully it’s bullet proofed
Thank you for sharing
ATF in the transfer case? Not in that truck.
Thinking about buying a 2012. Thanks for the insight!
I don't like that the beginning of the video starts with a power brake. Nobody would want that done to their vehicle.
First problem is not a problem. Your supposed add grease if it sags
You don’t plug in the glow plugs, they are always plugged in with the harness under the valve covers. The plug that hangs from the front of the truck is for block heaters which are little heating pads that are glued to the lower part of the motor where the crankshaft is to keep the oil temp at a flowable temp. The reason diesels have trouble starting in cold conditions is because the oil can’t get to the hpop to create the pressure needed to make the injectors function. The 7.3 has hydraulic injectors meaning it uses the oil to open and close the injector.
I purchased a 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500HD with the 6.0 with 150k for $4,300 it now has 170k and this bad boy is gonna last me forever I know it 🙌 my father has an 01 2500HD with 180k we're gonna run them to our graves haha
Thanks about to buy a 2012, this vidro was hrlpful
Try *BaldwinFilter* !
I drove my 1973 CJ5 Jeep the entire length I-75, from the Canada border to the end of I-75, at the time, in Tampa Florida.
2003 air conditioning
Very helpful video. I have the same vehicle and I’m going to be doing this service soon thank you
Went into parts city to find a good oil filter. The clerk recommended WIX. I typically use FRAM tough guard filters. After this I feel like I'm confident in my purchase.
Good machine, just the blind spots are the issue
More torque over a broader range. More main bearings supporting the crank. More power at less RPM’s.
$4 vs $9 both rated for 10k, both 95% efficient @20 microns per iso 4548-12. What do you expect.
hola yo quiero como consigo una máquina 310sg Jon deberes 2001
Ball joints, wheel bearings, water pumps, ect. are all normal maintenance items on all vehicles. Although the transfer case issue may be unique to this particular model, it's also of note that Chevy, Ford and Dodge all use basically the same transfer cases from New Process.
How horrible is the ride quality after adding a leaf?
Great job buddy 👍🏾 Thanks for showing us I am doing the same in my f250 04 Be safe 🙏🏾
in your video what is that red filter looking canister ?
Transmission oil filter for the Allison
I have a 2005 GMC Yukon XL DENALI with the 6.0L with original 95,600 miles as of September 23, 2021 at 94,000 I had to do knock sensors as well. ((There was a big loss of throttle response from the Bad Sensors))
Jello de ganso
Awesome cj5. I have a 1973 cj5 that I am restoring and I love my jeep
looks like he lives in colorado as backhoe has those plates
where does this guy live that camera is whacky
Once you hit 5th and 6th gear in one of these it falls on its face big time that is my only dislike
I have a 6.0 single cab work truck it’s a 2011 Chevy Silverado
I had a 2001 GMC 2500HD with the Allison 5-speed (maybe it was the 4L80e 4-speed but I can't remember) and 6.0L LQ4 Vortec. Was both a great workhorse and mud toy, even with a bad number 7 coil pack. I've always been into Nissans and Toyotas, but when it came to stuff needing to be hauled and pulled/towed, a Chevy/GMC was always the truck that didn't whine like a beverly hills brat.
