I absolutely enjoyed the prison healer and the other two books it was so brilliant ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐📚
You know, I don't rate with 5 stars often. I reserve these for very special books, those who have like an extra IT factor, the "je ne sais quoi." For me The Prison Healer was one of those! And the whole series is marvellous. It should receive more attention...
The vampire lestat is one of my least favorite book in the chronicles i just couldn't connect with it i haven't finished reading the series yet i have only read 5 books in the series

I recall reading The Vampire Lestat. I found some of its descriptions too intense and seductive, and had to put it down for a few months before finishing it. That said, this is probably the best-written vampire novel I have ever read.
Hi Lissy, I agree with you. I remember as well taking weeks to finish the book-and any by Anne Rice really-, having to put it down to digest it. It's definitely an intense read, but in a good way. I would add that more than the best-written vampire novel, Anne Rice is the best author I've ever read.

Started reading it today and I genuinely think it’s beautiful, you could literally feel the emotions these character were experiencing through the text 10/10 so far.
The second book of this series was released earlier this month. I haven’t read it yet, but it’s definitely in my TBR!
