They really made this game heavy settings reliant! I'm on ps4 & feel an amazing difference. On next generation consoles it must be crazy

All the advice in this is completely wrong by the way bud. It sounds like youv come to these conclusions about what the numbers mean by yourself and not actually looked up what the settings actually do lol. The deadzones are literally what the name suggests, dead areas in the range of the thumbstick, the bigger you make the min the further you have to move the stick before it kicks in, the max is how far you have to move the stick to reach your full moving or turning speed depending on which stick, so if you get stick drift the idea with the min is to up it (the dead zone) so it doesn’t detect the drift(your camera moving by itself), so if your getting drift you up it by 1 then by 1 and so on until the stick drift is gone but the controller still reacts as soon as you move the stick, this is just to stop your character moving itself but you can also have it react as soon as you move the stick, if you make your min massive like you have all youv done is make it so you have to move the stick further to get the same effect (this might be what youv found comfortable but it isn’t technically the ideal). The max like I say brings your max input speed inwards towards the centre of the area you have to move the thumb stick, so if you bring it down to 80 you only have to move it that far and you’ll be at the max turning speed, so if you want a bigger range of motion to allow for different speeds you have it at a high number, if you want it to scale to the faster speeds quicker you make the number lower, but this while maybe good for recoil control or just general acceleration could in turn be awful for your ability to track moving targets if your not comfortable with how the controller is ramping to its fastest speed so quick, to be able to track targets at any range at any speed a wider range of motion is better, only reason to bring it down is if there is dodgy dead areas at your farthest range of motion so you have to lower the max to avoid those few areas effecting your game. This vertical -/+ stuff your going on about is complete rubbish and completely misleading irrelevant information, if anyone listened to you they will legitimately get worse. There’s a big difference between settings youv messed with and found comfortable to you and what is actually good to use on a much bigger scale for everyone. Just for a simple example I don’t get stick drift on my left stick and I want rotational aim assist to activate as soon as I move the stick so mine is at 0, this way as soon as I move the stick I start moving and rotational aim assist kicks in, the max is at 75 because I want to move my left stick less distance to reach my max movement speed, if I wanted it to ramped faster I’d lower the number more. my right stick min is on 5 because on 4 I get a tiny bit of stick drift, putting it to 5 stops the drift but also means it reacts as soon as I move it, it’s on 99 because I want a full range of motion of different turning speeds , if someone’s in the distance I want to be able to slowly track them by moving my stick a tiny bit, and the closer they get the further I move the stick to pick up the speed. Adjusting the right stick min max doesn’t suddenly make recoil control work, it works no matter what you just pull down slightly on the right stick, the higher the min the further you have to move it to get the same effect, your min max doesn’t make it better or worse. After that you have to work out your comfortable sense, then what curve you want to play on, linear is 1 set speed pretty much no matter how far you move the stick, dynamic is fast to slow, it’s more reactive and snappy to faster movements with the stick but slower movements will let it move slowly , standard is old school cod feel where the further you move the stick the faster it gets, they are all personal preference and play style, then you can mess with the curve slope to make them less or more drastic. What the pros consider good is 0-65/80 on the left stick, 3/6-99 on the right, then you find your comfortable sens and curve, most pros play on between 1.50 and 1.60 sense, on dynamic curve for the snappy responsiveness, incase anyone wondered. TBH your vid it seems to me you should’ve been messing with your sens and the curves to find a comfortable movement speed/responsiveness of the sticks, but instead youv adjusted your deadzones to find a way to make it comfortable, which is fair you do you and all that, but you shouldn’t be explaining to people this completely awful incorrect advice and calling it the good or correct way to do it just because that’s how you thought it worked . Like that bit about you left stick, that looks to me like you’re on standard and you don’t like how slow it is to turn when you move it a little bit, so youv upped the dead zone so it in a weird way skips the slow part of the standard curve, where as realistically you should’ve just changed to dynamic or linear to see if the creativeness of those felt better. By reducing your Max dead zone, and increasing your minimum dead zone, It reduces the amount of data points for your aim and reduces the amount of detailed aiming. Im sorry brotha your explanation doesn’t make sense, it seems anecdotal more than objectively truth.

What they're not telling y'all about the settings are first you have to understand what all the settings do then you have to figure out how they best work for you cuz I think it's different for everyone because of different factors but first you have to figure out what each one does and how does it affect the controller and then you can proceed to set something that benefits you

Thank you for the video. I’ve struggled with trying to find the right settings to help with my aim. I’ve watched many videos and none ever helped me to really understand the settings more. Now I’m trying to understand how Motion Sensor ADS Sensitivity Multiplier and AIM Response Curve Slope Scale might help or not. I have a bit of stick drift and I feel like it's caused the aim assist to turn off and sometimes it feels like no aim assist at all MW3 had a bit overpowered aim assist and I loved it

the deadzone basically means the zone the controllers hardware remains dead in, so if you take any away more than necessary to just alleviate the symptoms of any stick drift all you are accomplishing is decreasing your modulation amounts of which ever parameter you tweeked.....

You got so pissed off and refused so bad to use Cronus that you figured this out and I just plugged in the same values as your and it’s fcking amazing! I commented negatively a few weeks ago on your deadzone video because I think you are wrong about that but this is actually insane. I didn't think gyro aim would work while disabled but I tried it and it does, you should make a video going over each setting and how you can adjust it to each persons individual stick sensitivity

These videos are hidden gems, really explaining everything in depth WITH proof, amazing. F the haters. The amount of videos I’ve seen made by so called “pro’s” just showing their bs settings with no explanation or evidence. You know what youre talking about bro, keep up the content 💯

This was a great explain man but you also forgot to include the different sights that should be applied to the certain gun bc they also effect the ads system. So there is really only 1 or 2 scopes to use in each class that works best These sights are what I found to work best for recoil control & accuracy all same explanation why for each one Assault Rifles = Dobrych MF Reflex SMG’s = Kepler Red Dot Marksman = have to do more testing but the Willis 3x seems like the most effective with less recoil Sniper = Redwell Custom Zoom If you have better suggestions pls feel free to share. But definitely try these. But make a few classes w the same gun having different scopes on them & enter a training match & practice to see what works best w how you play.
