    The yeast should be disolved in the milk. I did not. So, the yeast was intact in the dough

      It doesn’t have to be… I usually mix dry ingredients with dry, wet with wet and then while it mix, pure wet mixture into the mixer. Add butter after and then let it mix till smooth. Always works out. What type of yeast are you using?

    Love it 👌 1. You have to be patient when adding butter and don't give up kneading, it will incorporate. 2. Don't rush them after bake, let them rest on cooling rack covered with a cloth for them to get nice and squishy.

    Good recipe! I used a KitchenAid stand mixer to knead the butter into the dough. 2 minutes at speed 4 for each knead, scrape in between. Total 4 kneading (8 minutes). Smooth dough without messy hands.

    Where I come from (Malaysia) rice being stable food. We consider bread or any yeasty bakes goods as desserts or snacks. For breakfast we enjoy bun with fillings, empty we used for dipping in our Curry sauce or loaf bread sandwiches. Our protein flour sold in supermarkets are also different. In bakeries they have their own brand of course. So end of the story...buy buns n bread from bakeries.!
