Future Fonts is a platform for experimental, high-quality fonts in progress. We feature emerging type designers, and well-established foundries worldwide. You get access to the latest designs at a fraction of their final price, with free updates as they grow, and type designers control the way their fonts are developed and licensed. It’s an opportunity to support independent designers and new fonts, while investing in innovative type styles that reflect forward-thinking visual culture and technology. Also, unlike published fonts that have already been used for years in existing work, these are fresh typefaces making their debut on Future Fonts.

Because I’m in Europe and it seems there were so many Renaissance artists trying to make order out of chaos, this was very relevant to me right now. Mature cultures can sustain that “always being born phenom” especially to see Michelangelo sculpt his own face into the unfinished pietà. The goal to not grow old but to live on in this way-seemed to be very important to him, yet in the end years of his life he wondered if he had spent his time in the best way for his eternal soul. This is an interesting segway between the world of fonts and our living, breathing and curious world. Thanks for keeping us curious. The idea of being it credited to someone is the eternal frustration of authentic artists but also lives on in these new and innovative ways. You have expressed this very well.
