Because I’m in Europe and it seems there were so many Renaissance artists trying to make order out of chaos, this was very relevant to me right now. Mature cultures can sustain that “always being born phenom” especially to see Michelangelo sculpt his own face into the unfinished pietà. The goal to not grow old but to live on in this way-seemed to be very important to him, yet in the end years of his life he wondered if he had spent his time in the best way for his eternal soul. This is an interesting segway between the world of fonts and our living, breathing and curious world. Thanks for keeping us curious. The idea of being it credited to someone is the eternal frustration of authentic artists but also lives on in these new and innovative ways. You have expressed this very well. Great discussion concepts here.
