What happen to that movement during slavery in the US a Christian Nation???

I am sorry, but this is pure nonsense. The early church clearly had no long term strategy regarding slavery or anything else for that matter. Paul was convinced that Jesus would return shortly, probably in his lifetime, and the equality of men and women, Jews and gentiles, slaves and free men was conceived as a spiritual equality, never as a material or worldly equality. The letter he writes to Philemon demonstrates this abundantly, as Paul never tells his friend and brother in Christ Philemon to free Onesimus, never says that he shouldn't own slaves, or even that he shouldn't own other Christians as slaves. All he tells him is to receive his slave back and treat him as a brother, that is to say not kill him or beat him to within an inch of his life for doing whatever Onesimus had done wrong, and then running away, which was, don't forget, a very serious offense in and of itself. There is nothing that even hints at an anti-slavery feeling in anything written by Paul or the other Bible authors.

Because an 11th commandment, "Thou shall not enslave anyone for any reason" would have been to simple?
