I love Runescape! You love Runescape! Let's talk!
I Investigated The Most USELESS Items In OSRS
Old School RuneScape (OSRS) is full of items that are essential for gameplay-but what about those that serve almost no purpose? In this video, we’re counting down the most useless items in OSRS. Find out which items made the list and why they’re considered so useless in the world of Gielinor.
Have you ever stumbled upon an item and thought, “What is this even for?” Watch to see if it’s on the list, and let us know the most pointless item you’ve found in the comments. Don’t forget to like, subscribe, and share for more OSRS content!

Good video. I get the point with pegs since it’s just a bit of accuracy, but placing it literally right after an empty salt shaker is ridiculous
Tile. Found in wilderness is near worthless
Burnt lobster isn't useless. Its used as a collectable. Quite valuable actually.
"you probably go up the right staircase at lumbridge" .....thats such a harsh burn dude....
God bless and forgive you
I have no idea why but when you said "an alcoholic's worst nightmare" my mind immediately thought "an alch-o-holics worst nightmare" and was thinking it was an item thats terrible for alching
This might be one of the most successful first videos on a new OSRS youtube account, great work and congrats!
The extremely low bonus of Pegasian boots is fairly common for items at it's level. There are like, at least a dozen items around that level cap that are barely 2% of an upgrade for 100 times the cost.
Adamant javelins
Investigate "dead" content in OSRS next!
not me watching this to know what to do in leagues
5:28 so many items like pegs but pegs are a great example. I have a friend who started playing again and he buys the most useless garbage because its "BIS". He's getting better but still has pegs and no b ring (i) which is almost a free two melee max hits. I have pegasians for extremely niche bosses and consider having them take a walk often.
41k views on your first video. Not Bad. Looking forward to more!
Empty bottle is just RS way of introducing to USA Pfandsystem.
K
The flier has a use. It is one of the items that an NPC can ask for on a big list of items for a quest. I forget which one, but I remember grinding for it because it isn't tradeable on the GE.
They are only as useless as you make them feel
A+ audio balancing, it's immediately noticeable.
I love the research you put into this. Excited to see your upcoming videos!
No blowpipe?
Nice vid
@ swamp man for the old boots
Me rocking Pegasian to make Vorki slightly more consistent braindead I should grind a Quiver that case
so.. what's wrong with RS3? once you get away from "muh nostalgia". And I guess the microtransactions. (yes I have nostalgia for OSRS too back when it was just regular RS.)
This video is brass necklace erasure
Sawdust
Actually super impressed. I had to double check when I realised that this is your first video
great first video. will keep an eye out for more
My favorite tradeable but entirely useless item isn't in the video, which maybe makes it even more special and useless, it didn't even make the cut!
(hint for those curious: it's a ruined version of a very useful item, you can hypothetically farm the item but it'd be a pain, and it isn't the broken pole, which I just learned about reading the other comments)
Add INVENTION ALREADY GOD DAMMIT
Mote pl0x at home
little surprised tile isn't in that. yes, there spawns for an item called a tile that people thought would be for construction when it was coming out in early runescape, but it was never given a purpose.
This is really good dude. 10/10 would tune in again!
buying burnt food
Anyone have an ethical argument against botting buckets of rubble from "in aid of the myreque" for the sole purpose of selling to collectors?
The same puzzle that has that magnet has a literal red herring. Said red herring is more useful than the magnet!
After the Evil Dave subquest you can fight the big rats that always give a 4-dose shaker of a specific color of spice. If the skill you need to boost is over like 60 it's usually faster to get the spice.
poor lobster :( I always pick up burnt foods since collectors buy them
What's wrong with going up the right staircase at lumbridge? 😭😭
the spices boost you form -5 up to +5 randomly not just 4 lvls
7:30 don't you mean "believed to be unobtainable" 13:05 love the "This video is unavailable" card
I think the Golden Hammer, Golden Tinderbox, Golden pot, and the 3 other golden items from Priest in Peril deserve a mention. They serve no purpose, aren't tradable, can't be used like the normal version, aren't relevant to the quest they are obtained during, aren't acknowledged during the quest, and can't be re-obtained after the quest is over. At best, they're an interesting easter egg.
Wilderness Watch: Pegasian boots are useless Me on my Iron balling out in my Peggys at Barrows: Wrong :)
🔥🔥🔥🔥
burnt meat is usefull for 1 quest. at least thats some thing.
I'm glad that i'm not crazy for telling my ironman colleagues that going for ranger boots are cope.
Bro but the thrill of gambling on clues is just too hype
@ I've been going for ham joint for ToB so I agree
Thought you could only hit 100 subs on a video this well edited. You fool
Great video! Looking forward to see what you do in the future. Subscribed. :)
Awesome, thank you!
Crazy to see that this is your first video, love the style.
