Macbook Pro 13” (2017), Function Keys (Model #A1708) Battery Replacement Repair
Please test with Android 7 64/32 bit versions.
worked on the latest bluestacks, but required fresh bluestacks.
It worked for me If you're having issues: DO NOT start android 11 instance before you changed the 3 files or you will have to uninstall Bluestack and start over. Just do whatever the video shows you
What heat gun did you use?
On Amazon, www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07RY5XWVG/
Actually Bluestack forcing to do normal to readonly after doing install on kitsune it creates a file name Rvc64.bstk-pre and also it chnaging on original Rvc64.bstk(normal to readonly) so its getting fail
Does it stick when you put it back?
@@CATZgamingnofatchicks yes. As long as you are careful with the initial pickup and don't pull too hard it'll sit right back like you never removed it. It's gonna take some practice. I'd test it first on something less expensive till you get the hang of it.
no way
Is there any proof that realizing this modifications it will work on ps5?
its using santroller firmware. it will work on ps5
For those who couldn't do it, I followed these steps and it worked: 1 → Install BlueStacks from scratch with the Android 11 instance and create the shortcut on the desktop 2 - Start the instance (via the desktop shortcut) and when it's finished, close it 2 → In the file 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\bluestacks.conf' change 'bst.feature.rooting' and 'bst.instance.Rvc64.enable_root_access' from '0' to '1' 3 → Set the file 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\bluestacks.conf' to read-only 4 → Delete the file 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\Engine\Rvc64\Rvc64.bstk-prev' (if it exists) 5 → In the files 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\Engine\Rvc64\Rvc64.bstk' and 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\Engine\Rvc64\Android.bstk.in' change the 'type' of 'fastboot.vdi' and 'Root.vhd' from 'Readonly' to 'Normal' 6 → Start the instance (via the desktop shortcut) 7 → Install the '26.4-kitsune.apk' 8 → Open Magisk and follow the options: 'Install' > 'Next' > 'Direct Install (modify /system directly)' > 'LET'S GO' when finished, close BlueStacks 9 → In the file 'C:\ProgramData\BlueStacks_nxt\bluestacks.conf' change 'bst.feature.rooting' and 'bst.instance.Rvc64.enable_root_access' from '1' to '0' Done!
It worked perfectly, thank you very much!
I am trying for naugat 32 but its not working. please help
system partion read only, failed
Good job, bro, thank you so much. But why magisk did not work, only Kitsune Mask work
From what I understand, Magisk needs to be added to or flashed onto the boot.img. In certain situations, the fork of Magisk, Magisk Delta (Kitsune Mask), can be installed directly to the system, bypassing the need for the boot.img, which is ideal for emulators where the size of the boot.img is fixed.
@@RobThePCGuy got it,thanks bro
Glad to visit and learn from your useful video Will your solution work on the other emulators such as LDPlayer, NoxPlayer? There is no .conf file there when LDPlayer and NoxPlayer is installed.
How un root, in root checker detect
@@QiaNurwatikain BlueStacks you uninstall the magisk (kitsune) app then clone the instance from the manager. The clone will have the root removed. The alternative option will be, create a new instance or may even go as far as needing to completely remove and reinstall BlueStacks. This is an untested method, but should work in theory. Report back on if it worked.
Hi, why did you replace it? My Quest 3 shuts off for 10mins from overheating. Ive replaced the the theraml paste with mx4 but still doing the same thing. Please help.
@@wakkinito only to see how messed up it was. However, it really wasn't that bad. It's all about less is more with thermal paste.
What temp did you use?
368° Fahrenheit +/-
Thank you so much! I've been trying to find the boot.img for so long but I guess bluestakcs doesnt allow goin into recovery mode
Will it work for GH/RB PS3 Games
santroller firmware works on ps3 with no authentication needed
does this method on macos?? i've been trying to root BS on macos BUT no luck.
Initially I had some problems, so I had to completely remove bluestacks from my computer. 1. Uninstall all Bluestacks software. 2. Delete all Bluestacks folders in C:\ProgramData\, C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Local\, C:\Users\<YourUsername>\AppData\Roaming\ 3. Delete all Bluestacks registry keys. (Win+R -> regedit) HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\, HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ 4. Delete windows temp folder (Win+R -> Temp) 5. Reboot PC. After that everything worked as in the video.
I had the same issue than people in the comments and the solution is to do all the "readonly" to "normal" again once you open the instance. It seems that once you open it, they go back to "readonly" automatically
@@ALLISMIND it's a finicky thing. Updates to the software, updates to Windows, creating or deleting instances all trigger it to go back to read only. So yes you just have to be vigilant and or do a clean install.
Hello poster, thank you for your effort. I really didn't understand step 2. How to use Notepad++to modify. Change the type of 'from' to. "fastboot.vdi""Root.vhd""Readonly""Normal" . Can you explain it in detail? Thank you very much, I'm stuck at this point
Same for me
@@Mikha2212 yes, in the description I have a link to my GitHub. It's a written tutorial.
Does this work for ps4 too?
After this mod, does the guitar connect wirelessly to ps5 rather than needing an adapter on the usb receiver?

doesn't work on msi app player
For those with issues: "I can't stress this enough: For this to work, you must remove all traces of BlueStacks from your computer and then install the latest version. If you don't, the rooting process won't work. The full steps for installing and rooting are in my UA-cam video." Now to figure out how to uninstall "completely", as I remember doing this before (for a different reason) and it was a nightmare.
@@AW-ht1ly Go here, it's the only way to go . support.bluestacks.com/hc/en-us/articles/360057724751-How-to-uninstall-BlueStacks-5-BlueStacks-X-and-BlueStacks-Services-completely-from-your-PC

There are tools to get screws out like that
just downloaded pie instance and for some reason the bstk file is reverting to their default state (a.k.a read only), so is this method has been patched or what? since i tried it with Android 11 instance and it works.
I downloaded and installed the Pie64 version from the website. Following the installation, I uninstalled both Bluestacks X and Bluestacks Services. The Pie64 instance launched automatically after the installation. I then closed all running Bluestacks programs. Something that is different is that when you run the Pie64 instance, you have to modify the same text section in the bluestacks.conf. The same situation exists with Pie64 in the engine folder. I had no issues installing Magisk or rooting the instance. After installing Magisk, I shut down the instance. Note that Bluestacks automatically updates the main root option in bluestacks.conf, so you need to manually adjust the remaining setting still set to 1 (the Pie64 setting). Save the changes, and you should not encounter any issues unless Bluestacks updates, you create a new instance, or you modify files on the Windows side. In answer to the question, no, it has not been patched. I hope this helps.
The method only shows select a patch file no other options are there, this method is not working
@@viralweb936 I'm sorry to hear that. There are many reasons one might assume this method does not work. However, if you read some of my replies to other comments, I detail some basic troubleshooting steps. This method works with the latest versions of BlueStacks and Windows 11.
It worked for me several weeks ago, but now bluestack just rewrites files back to read-only at every launch, and even if I set those files to read only in file properties, kitsune installs but didn't appear after the restart
I get it, it rewrites files because I used BlueStacks Multi-Instance Manager to launch instance, you need to to run it directly through icon on desktop

Settings don’t work on PS5 & Fortnite Festival
What happened to it
@@ceilingfanman1877 two things, one the part in the center where the wires connect for the lights had been twisted by hand so many times that the wires shorted out. Two, it's such an old fan that the motor was humming and would barely turn so I figured, "It's gone!" Lol
Ok
That. A. Old. Ceiling-fan. Come. In. 1988. At. Ceiling-fan.
it's work but can only open 1 instance, if open more it will error , any solution ?
Yes, when you go to root a new instance, you must change all the 0's to 1's in the bluestacks.conf. Also, all the READONLY's to NORMAL in the bstk files for all instances. Then revert back the 1's to 0's in the bluestacks.conf. I will test it right now, just to be sure. edit(1) From what I can gather, this method only works on the version of Android you install from the website. Like Pie64, downloading and installing it from the website will only work on that master image. The same can be said of the Android 11 download and install process. I hope this helps. edit(2) After running the uninstall tool I have linked in the video description and reinstalling, I was able to get root on both the pie64 and rvc64 instances to function at the same time. I did not do anything special besides doing them both at the same time and from a fresh install.
@@RobThePCGuy i dont understand can you make video plz ? if yes then its big help for us
friend, can you do me a favor? to test if the Astropay application runs in the root environment with Magisk delta, since at the moment no emulator including Android studio or Genymotion works, it seems Astropay is able to detect that the application is running within a virtual environment. although it can be downloaded but when trying to run it just closes by itself
bst feature rooting is reverting to 0 :( didnt work
My apologies, I need to make sure my video is clear on the final steps. It is essential that all the options for "root" in the bluestacks.conf file are set to 0 after installing Magisk. By default, the file automatically changes when opened after rooting. As a result, I only show how to change the instance root option back to 0, because the other one is already set correctly. Long story short, this behavior is normal.
i managed to install magisk but when i try to launch any file explorer app except for media manager it makes bluestacks freeze totally and i have to force close it and run it again i couldn't download android 11 instance since i barely could download pie64 with my internet do i have to download android 11 or is there any other way for pie ?
Didnt work. Even though i changed the values to normal, still getting the same "System partition is read-only". Double checked it and it's still "normal" in the file.
Yeah the real trick is to remove the inner door panel and use a rubber mallet to tease the dent outward with a couple of good solid whacks. No glue, no scratches, no marks etc and then just put the door panel back on.....buff the paint and be on your way.
hello,i tried like in the tutorial and doesn't work,i do not see the options and i closed magisk app and it's still not there
When I troubleshoot, I like to systematically check for potential causes. Below, I have a few steps to make sure that Windows or other factors aren't the issue: 1. Reboot! Sometimes a simple reboot can resolve temporary glitches. 2. Update Windows OS and drivers to reduce compatibility issues. 3. Temporarily disable any antivirus or security software to see if they are interfering. 4. Try a clean boot on Windows. 5. If all else fails, reinstall Windows. I have some tutorials for these on my website, 'www.zero-one-zero.com/do-it-yourself'. Let me know if you need additional steps or more detail.
@@RobThePCGuy hello,I watched again and now it's working,thx!!

I don't know how to fucking root this shit of bluestacks, as this shit of apk doesn't work cause in the fucking method section doesn't pop up nothing if not "Select and patch a file" i'm fucking annoyed of this bullshit.
Good timing. Cheers for the upload. A couple points to make: the root "1" reverts back to 0 on startup. And theres a new option 'preserve force encryption' in magisk. I started from scratch and followed exactly step by step and it worked. Only took a couple hours! Now theres an app which will only run with the root settings turned on "1".
I guess you're referring to the bluestacks.conf. If so both the values for root should be zero after the root has been completed for this to work. Any BlueStacks updates or repairs to the instance will cause the root to be removed.
@@RobThePCGuy I thought I had followed your guide, but every time I opened an instance it would reset the conf to 0 for the enable root option. I'd check in the setting in the phone section and there was no root switch. I did it about ten times then gave up. I tried using read-only mode but it prevented masgisk from working. Anyway, I got it working so thanks.
@@Rooxie973 how did you fix it ? the value for feature rooting option is reverting to 0 .. and i cant install kitsune :( please halp
