Chandra Shumwa- Canada born, Ohio raised, and California tempered!
With music in her mind, she grew up singing a capella while imagining melody, rhythm and rhyme.
Having cut her teeth in Ohio and Boston she ventured to NYC where she turned boo’s into ooo’s at the Apollo and wowed the crowd at Halo with her song "Struck" a capella.
One of Chandra’s proudest New York moments was getting to perform at a 9/11 commemorative event and being honored by the amazing Chief of the FDNY!
Then the current Artistry Adventure began in 2003 when Star Search flew her out and she vowed to make California her home.
She has ignited local dance floors with her delivery of famous songs and has worked with many talented musicians throughout the years. Now, with her reputation preceding her, she finds herself singing anywhere with anyone at any time!
