I just subscribed. I found the most recent video on UA-cam because I need help with the installation. I need somebody to help me fix. It stucks 78% with 497 errors. I can't find what I am doing wrong. I followed all the steps in the videos.

Sonja might be getting stalked by a Daedric Prince. One responsible for turning the land fertile in Rorikstead. Almost all the young women in Rorikstead are deceased. The only exception in vanilla is one elf who works on Reldith's farm. Some believe Clavicus Vile kills all fertile woman who live in Rorikstead in return for keeping the soil fertile. Even if her curse is unrelated to Vile, she's not any safer in Rorikstead. In this town he can see her. He wants her. If she stays in Rorikstead, she will die.

I recently learned that Erik the Slayer is based on a real person. He was a huge Elder Scrolls fan. He sadly was ill with terminal cancer. With the Make a Wish Foundation he had a tour of Bethesda Game Studio's office and got to play a beta build of Skyrim. He passed away before the game released. I think he would've adored modded Skyrim.

Giants actually tend to have issues with orcs. At least some of them. They are devotees of the god Shor and do not like Trinimac, the Aldmer who slew Shor. Orcs tend to worship Malacath who is Trinimac after being transformed into the first orc by the Daedric Prince Boethiah. Perhaps that female giant knew you were worshipping Talos and decided you were okay.

1:42:48 I've experienced this before. It's caused by NPCs loading in before the terrain and thus falling through the ground. Sometimes they shoot back up to the surface, sometimes not, either way they die of fall damage. This can have terrible consequences. Like non-essential quest NPCs dying and even the essential ones being stuck under the ground forever. Even if you resurrect NPCs via console commands, the trigger to mark the NPC as dead has still occurred, which can mess up some things.

1:16:49 This draugr dropped an ebony mace, but it looks like the mod dev put in a check to make sure the player couldn't loot it. Pure evil.

1:09:53 This line of dialogue triggered because the Blood on the Ice quest has activated. This means Susanna the Wicked, the barmaid of Candlehearth Hall, is dead. This is a GOOD thing because it means Blood on the Ice is working. Everyone HATES that quest because of how buggy it is. Sometimes even with patches it just doesn't want to work.

The god Talos is an apotheosized Tiber Septim, who was possibly a mortal incarnation of the god Shezzar/Shor/Lorkhan. AKA a Shezzarine. Some believe one or two other Shezzarines fused with him upon his ascension to godhood. Zurin Arctus and/or King Wulfharth. So if the player is a Shezzarine, as is theorized by the community, you praying to Talos is you praying to at most 3 of your brothers to help fam out.

26:13 Bandit appears. "Bandit Healer." Bandit Healer launches a cataclysmic wave of fire injuring his comrade and damn near sucking all the oxygen out of the cave. I think that guy needs a new profession. He's clearly not suited for his current one.

The story behind the messer type of sword is that messer is actually German for knife. Back in the medieval era in the Holy Roman Empire, peasants were forbidden from owning swords. The peasantry got around this by making swords with the specifications of knives. The legal specification for a knife had no limit on length. Legally, they were not swords. They were big knives. Known in German as Großes Messer (great knife). A Kriegsmesser (war knife) is a "knife" so long that it requires the use of two hands.

I don't know why this comment mysteriously disappeared the first time, but for the guy learning French, I hope their professor gave them some leeway with that test. If they explained the problems with how the test was set up, the professor might by merciful.

Olaf should not have had the Ice Blade of the Monarch. The Creation Club Ice Blade of the Monarch which is semi-canon is supposed to be in Cronvangr Cave. Left there a short while before the start date of this game. Before that it was in the possession of the Nerevarine (the player character of Morrowind). Olaf was dead a long time before any of this. I guess it's possible someone went into King Olaf's tomb and gave it to him. Maybe that ogrim. Though he didn't seem very welcome once Olaf's undead warriors woke up. Game mechanics wise, Legacy of the Dragonborn gives Olaf the Ice Blade. Auryen has some notes about it in the Dragonborn Museum that could explain it, but I personally used a patch for Legacy to work with another Ice Blade of the Monarch mod. So the notes were different than they would be normally. It definitely isn't because an ogrim gave it to him. Legacy doesn't add the ogrim, that's another mod. I think what happened is that whatever mod adds in these new creatures was designed to put a randomized boss enemy at the end a lot of dungeons. But the mod author didn't blacklist dungeons like Dead Man's Respite. So when Olaf's minions woke up they saw the ogrim who definitely wasn't supposed to be there and a gang war ensued.

His wife, Katariah, was a dark elf. She was not a follower of the Tribunal or "Three Good Daedra" though. She was a follower of the Divines. Perhaps she was proud of her elven ancestry and had this statue to Trinimac built. Fun fact: She became Empress after Pelagius III died. Yeah. Tamriel had a dark elf as Empress for a time. I think the owner of the New Gnisis Corner Club holds her in high regard. He is a loyalist to the Empire and even keeps a set of Imperial armor in his personal quarters to wear in the event of an uprising against Uflric.

Ogrim are a type of Daedra mostly associated with Malacath. Why one was living in King Olaf's tomb is beyond me. It COULD be that it's a reference to Orkey, the Nordic version of Malacath... sort of. Who is both a hearth god (helpful god) and a testing god (evil god). It's complicated. Orkey is basically the Nordic god of death. So it KINDA makes sense for an Ogrim to be there, but it's a stretch. Also it probably despawned because of there's a limit to the amount of dead NPCs in a cell. Meaning you missed out on a daedra heart and some other awesome loot, probably

What Roggvir did wasn't a crime. Ulfric said he was there to challenge High King Torygg, so Roggvir let him in. Roggvir wasn't there to see what really happened in the Blue Palace. He didn't know Ulfric didn't properly challenge Torygg. Torygg didn't even know Ulfric was there to challenge him. He actually respected Ulfric a lot. He thought Ulfric and him would have a chat about Talos over some mead, but before he knew it, he was getting thrown against the wall and impaled. Some argue that Ulfric did challenge Torygg, but it's implied that if he did, it was like "Ulfric, my friend! How are-" "I challenge you for the title of high king, one-two-three FUS RO DAH!" Roggvir being executed was pure court politics.

The horse did in fact die at the Shrine of Azura

This modpack not having the Convenient Horses mod means the expensive, non-respawning, horses will throw themselves at dragons and die in one hit. Or in this case, overleveled skeletons.

0:23 I was not expecting this to be a mashup with the Daggerfall theme. If you think about it, The Agent, the player character of Daggerfall, did cause Tiber Septim to reach apotheosis. And was a very good friend of Uriel Septim VII, who may or may not have given The Agent an ebony dagger as a gift of friendship. Ebony, which is the solidified blood of Lorkhan, AKA Shor or Shezzar, which Tiber Septim might've been a mortal incarnation of. AND The Agent brought about a golden age for Orc-kind. Getting them proper Imperial protections and recognition as a sapient race of people.

The three standing stones seem pointless. How can certain skills level up faster if skills aren't improved by being used in this modpack?

Your playlist is backwards, making it hard to new people to get into your playthrough. You can move the episodes around freely, so it should be an easy fix for you.

Getting the different endings, showing some of the weirder dialogue and random events (like the ghost of the person who hanged themselves, that was creepy as fuck when it first happened to me!), cooler/dumber weapons, etc. Thanks!
