Cant help noticing how much thinner the orange men and women were back then compared to now i guess its a sign of the times.

I remember watching DrumG walk up to the Victoria Orange Hall to meet the District for the Larne Orange District Annual Devine Service in the late 80's. I think that they match straight of the boat. My pals told me last week that they could smell the beer of them in the Church. Well is better to go than not to go. :-) They were so entertaining, looked so smart and everyone loved them in Larne. Larne L.O.L 884 used to engage them every year for the twelfth. Unfortunately it's all changed days now as regards the lodges and bands but that's life.

my old band , i joined when it first formed in 77 , got many a happy memory of my 7 or 8 years with the band on parade and in Orange halls the length and breadth of Scotland , great to see a few familiar faces . thanks for the upload
