Hadn't even considered that part of it. Not only will there be a lot more waste, the uses for what IS recycled will be very limited.

can u imagine the waste involved when they reach the end of their cycles? not like scrapping metal....what.... do parts get ground up and made into dogballs and plastic bags for groceries?

It's gonna be hard to get used to the transition to the 787s when the 767 eventually reach their end of life cyles. Not so sure about flying composite...many bad qualities to plastic....lack of ductability is a major issue for me.
