Great weekend despite the rain!
Переглядів 77Рік тому
In this video we show how wet the ozarks were on our recent trip with great friends. We didn't focus a lot on video as you can tell, but sometimes you simply have to enjoy the day. Remind yourself why we do what we do, it's not all for the gram after all...

Crossing one of the scariest bridges I have ever been on! 1 mile long and 19.7 feet wide!
Переглядів 1292 роки тому
This video is of us crossing the Brookport Bridge. One of the scariest bridges to be on in many people's opinion due to the length and narrow two way traffic. It is truly an amazing piece of engineering from 1929.

Thats amazing I had kmnow idea that The Blue Hole is 407 Feet Deep, how cool is that...Love the culture and amazing people in Belize always had fun just walking around and interacting with the people
Beautiful
You can get on at the 3 sticks monument and ride it east to Mena. Clayton to the 3 sticks monument is now mostly private property.
That’s correct. Only a tiny portion west of 3 sticks is accessible. And of that, some is technically access road, not public lands.
I keep meaning to go check this trail out, do you have any recommendation on what time of year would be best to run it?
I have always wanted to go in the fall, with leaf color change. But, we haven’t been able to make it this time of year yet.
Looks really great. Did you go with 3/16" steel, 1/8 steel, or 1/4" aluminum? Did you do your own coating? (I'm thinking I'll just prime and paint my skids, because the factory ones find so many rocks that powder coat can't possibly hold up.) My BudBuilt sliders have been incredible so far. The nice thing about the steel is how easily it slides over/around the obstacles. (then I just have to spray paint the scars after a day of wheeling.)
These are 3/16 steel. I used rustoleum bedliner spray paint on them. Doing it over, I would probably use duplicolor spray, I have had better luck with it. brake cleaner will remove the rustoleum. I didn’t bother with powder coating for the same reason. My sliders have held up well. But, powder scratches just the same as my rattle can.
I wish I was joining!
Such a nice place! And the 4Runner does great! I like it!
Yes, the tunnel is interesting, thank you for showing it!
My kinda video. It’s the trip….not the content 👍🏻. See you out there!
He’s like such a noob
Bud used my truck to develop that skid package. Mine are in stainless steel. They are awesome.
These (and his sliders) are still my best purchase to this day. Great customer service as well
where do we put in if its closed near Clayton
The easiest place is at 3 sticks monument on 259 north of hochatown, near big cedar. Large area behind the monument to park/load of sxs or air down/up in hwy legal. It also pulls up on google map, so it’s a great start point. West is to the tower. Once there, turn around and you can go back east, cross the highway and continue the trail to the east toward zafra, AR
Awesome, came over from your FB post to check out your channel. Clicked all the buttons for ya. Looking forward to watching. 👍
Thanks! We are slowly growing, we just need more time to get out!
Lift on truck?
Not sure what lift is on the others, but our 4R is billstein 6112/5100 combo 1.5” front, 2” rear
I may just have to check this out someday!
I think it would be great on the fall with the color change
This has been on my short list for awhile. always end up on the east side of Broken Bow lake though. Need a pin on jumping off point on the legal part.
The easiest way to know that you are legal is to start at 3 sticks monument, north of broken bow on 259. You can go west ONLY to the fire tower, and go east until it puts you on Zafra road. It’s NF on the east from 3 sticks (nf6025)
Love it!
We are friends on Facebook. Figured I should subscribe to your channel! :)
I appreciate it! You know how these algorithms are. Lol
Great job!
Super, you made excellent !👏
cant hear you well
Agree, Oklahoma has a lot of hidden treasures.
Looks fun will have to check it out.
It is worth it for sure. I’m excited to do the rest of it
That's pretty sick! Would be sweet driving through a tunnel like that
Thanks for adding the history bit and the specs of the tunnel. Nice to know!
A quick horn blast at the entrance of the tunnel is a good and a common practice before entering
That’s great info. To be honest, you’re the first person I’ve heard mention it though, I’ll make sure to pass it on
Man hope there is never anyone on the other side of that thing. Long way to back out. But I’d love to go.
All I could think was how I REALLY should’ve gotten my reverse light pods installed, as I was hoping not to meet someone 😂
Been to that tower. Most of whats right to the east of Broken Bow lake is Game Preserve.
Yep, we saw a ton of wildlife out yesterday too. Only a few other people though
Very cool! I agree with you. After doing the high water mark trail a few weeks ago WITHOUT a snorkel on the Jeep, you quickly realize it only takes one solitary moment for things to go sideways.
Thanks! I grew up running the Canadaian River Bottom here, we sank and swamped more than our share of stuff when I was young and stupid. It's just not worth the risk for as cheap as they are to put on.
Those old FJ's were great. Cool vid.
