We like to get away with our caravan and 4WD most weekends all year around. We mostly stay in caravan parks and free camps on the east coast of NSW. We started filming our adventures to show family and friends what we were up to. Some of them live overseas so it was difficult for them to imagine what we were doing. I like flying my DJI Mini 2 drone making birds eye view footage and I enjoy making the footage of the places we visit. Before Covid we travelled to some popular warm destinations like Bali, Fiji and North Queensland and now that borders are open we re starting to travel to these destinations again. For many years I worked in the Airfreight industry where I developed a love for all things Aircraft so some of the videos might feature a take of or an Aircraft museum or helicopters inflight.
The Ruins Campground near Forster in NSW
We camped for a week at the Ruins Campground 15 minutes south of Forster, we visited the Pacific Palms Recreational Club, "The Recky" up the road and we went to Elizabeth beach and we saw some whales breaching. The Ruins is of grit there is no Power or water. There are a few taps on site but you cant fill your water tank from them.

On my way back from the tip of Cape York I camped overnight at the Hann River Road house. The ppl from the Hann River Roadhouse are super friendly and welcoming.

I stayed at the Loyalty Beach campground near Bamaga on the Cape York Peninsula in Far north Queensland for 2 nights. A great location.
My trip to the tip of Cape York 2024 (Pajinka) (Fruitbat falls)

I did a roadtrip over 2 weeks from Sydney to the tip of the Cape York Peninsula in Australia (Pajinka) Along the way I name all the fuel stops on the cape york peninsula and I stop at Fruitbat falls as well. I also confirm if you can pay at all the road houses with Efpos including the Jardine Ferry. I also mention where there is mobile phone reception.

We were in Forster at the end of April and we went to Anatolia, the Forster Tuncurry golfclub and the bowling club for lunch, 3 great venues to have a nice long lunch in Forster. I also added some footage from my drone and from the lookout in Forster, a great location for a short holiday.

In February we stayed for 4 nights at the 1770 campground in Seventeen Seventy in Mid north Queensland. We had a waterfront site. The watertemp was 28 degrees.

During the Covid years The GC was a Covid hotel so I had to stay somewhere else and it was not the same. I hope you enjoy the video.

Hi there. Nice video. Read the video description and it says you free camped here. Just in case there is confusion there is no free camping at Gradys. All sites are paid camping. Powered and non powered plus the cabins. Cheers 🍻 Matty R

Nice video mate & very informative. You are the only vlogger who didn't do the crazy telegraph track which is the trip we are planning next year. We tried earlier this year but had vehicle dramas. Hey mate I went early September was an amasing trip, it wasnt busy, the operators were saying it was not as busy as years prior… I didnt book anything and I was able to get into anywhere I tried… it is an amasing experience if you are planning it just do it you wont regret it… thanks for watching HaFi travel…

Hi mate, I got it at Anaconda and I drilled a hole on each corner to fit the swag poles, its not perfect but it works.

Hi mate, my pleasure, we were on #27, the last beach front site, I thought it was the best spot in the campground.. we did not have a campfire but you are allowed to... great destination..

decades ago now? while in cairns i toured replica of the 1400 dovkin it was moored during trip found out folks back then sure were short steering done by a tiller

Windang caravan park is council run and sits on the northern shore of the entrance into lake Illawarra. Windang beach (patrolled) and port Kembla beach are to the east. Lovely remote pristine beaches. Windang has a couple of shops, a pub and a club. Nice little out of the way place.
You can also take a walk / ride a bike along a great track on the southern side from Shellharbour to windang and west to oak flats. You can stroll over the bridge to lake south and out onto windang island. Great spot.
Tourists should try and spread their holidays out over the year. We have up to 20,000 people flood our beautiful town in Christmas causing absolute havoc for everyone but restaurant owners. We are all pretty sick of it tbh.
Hi Jack, We were there in the last week of Feb 22 outside the peak season, there was a lot of vacancies in the caravan parks back then, I would definitely recommend going to Forster outside the Xmas January period but we are lucky we can travel outside the tourist peak season..
Was hoping to see more of the town and shops as we used to holiday there when i was young, pity...

We came home last night after staying there and we just loved it. So nice to see your video as it showed our room and even our seat at the restaurant at the marina. The Fijians are so welcoming and so happy to see the tourists again.
