Rookery Waters began in 2002 when the owners decided to change a water storage reservoir on the farm into a popular fishing lake; Rook.
Since then, we have gone on to build five more lakes with varying features, catering for both pleasure and match anglers.
It has an onsite tackle shop; Tackle and Bates, and the Rookery Café serving a traditional full English breakfast every morning, using local butchers’ sausages. Throughout the day, the Café remains open for snacks, drinks, ice creams, and bottled beer and cider.
In 2019, five CL caravan pitches were constructed, capturing beautiful views across Rook Lake in front and countryside behind. More recently in 2020, four open-plan holiday lodges have been built also overlooking Rook, each with its own exclusive fishing platform and all self-catering facilities.

You state "last chain ferry in GB" not true. The Sandbanks chain ferry to Studland in Poole is another one. Much bigger thing.
